GENTEMTRIPS THE ANDES チリ、アンデス山脈。 むき出しの荒々しい岩肌と、地平線まで続く広大な白銀の世界。 息をのむほどに雄大で、時に人を寄せ付けない厳しさを見せるこの地にGENTEMSTICKのボードが渡った。 旅をしていると、ふと太平洋を挟んだ遙か遠くの雪国であるニセコの深い森や、そこに降り積もる極上のパウダースノーの気配が重なる瞬間がある。 その理由を、とある二名がチリの山から届けてくれた。 チリのマウンテンカルチャーを牽引するライダーのフェデリコ・メキス ( @fedsikem )。そして、中南米をベースに活動する写真家のロドリゴ・マンズ ( @rmanns )。 日本という、強いものづくりの文化が根付く地の一滴の雫から始まったGENTEMSTICKのフィロソフィー。 それは太平洋を渡り、チリの熱きリーダーたちの血肉となって、アンデスの深い雪の中に確かな根を張り始めている。 彼らの旅は、まだ始まったばかりにすぎない。 The Andes, Chile. A world of raw, rugged rock faces and a vast expanse of silver and white stretching to the horizon. Into this breathtakingly majestic and often unforgiving landscape, GENTEMSTICK boards have made their way. While traveling here, there are moments when the presence of a far-off snow country across the Pacific suddenly overlaps—the deep forests of Niseko, and the exquisite powder snow that blankets them. Two individuals have brought us the answer straight from the Chilean mountains: Federico Mekis ( @fedsikem ), a rider leading Chile’s mountain culture, and Rodrigo Manns ( @rmanns ), a photographer based in Central and South America. . 佐藤　慎二   1979 - 2026.05.09  GENTEMSTICKライダーであり、私たちの良き友人、そして家族である佐藤慎二が、2026年5月9日に天国へ旅立ちました。 今もなお、自身のラインを滑り続けている慎二へ。 彼の滑り、山に対する真摯な姿勢、そしてあの優しい笑顔は、これからも私たちの心の中で、そしてGENTEMSTICKの歴史の中で永遠に生き続けます。 慎二の世界を見せてくれてありがとう。 佐藤慎二という一人の男の生き様をずっと忘れる事はありません。 これまで彼を想い、パワーを送っていただいた皆様に感謝致します。 私たちの想いと祈りのすべてを、最愛のご家族へ捧げます。 We feel the deep loss of his presence, yet he’s still riding his own line.
