The past few days have been a dream come true, an unforgettable animal, a place that means so much, and a group of people I’ll never forget.

The 2025 Kansas State Fair will always stand out as the proudest accomplishment of my showing career. It may not carry much weight in a job interview, but the early mornings, late nights, and the lessons I learned made it all worthwhile. This was the first year I faced it without my sister by my side, in both the barn and the ring, something I never saw coming. To the people who started it all, I want to sincerely thank each and every one of you for your unwavering support. My appreciation goes out to an incredible crew and everyone who’s been in my corner. Every hug, high five, fist bump, tear, text, and kind word has made this moment way more meaningful. To everyone who has been a part of this journey, thank you. We did it!

Boogie, you crossed the finish line! From the beginning, when Amazon Pedialyte helped save your life, then having a wild ride during the summer, to finally sealing the deal. You may not have been the easiest walking one, but you sure left your legacy of bite marks on the installation of my barn walls. I hope you get as many Tums and blue sprinkled donuts as your heart desires. You’ll never be forgotten.🤍

Little did I know when I first named this pig Quavo, that his name would come to mean so much after the year we had together. He wasn’t just any pig, he was one of one. Unique. Memorable. Charismatic. He was always the first one to jump up on the gate, always ready for what was next, and he had a deep love for his signature treat: those famous blue sprinkled donuts. Love you forever buddy.🤍🍩
