Brian Foote (Peak Oil, Leech) and Paul Dickow (Strategy, Community Library) join Geographic North as Foote/Dickow with ‘High Cube.’ A record built on the skeletal remains of restraint: five instruments, one-hour timer, a total ban on overthinking. Tethered to nothing but the ether, ‘High Cube’ is a masterclass in the theater of the uncanny—moody, complex, and decidedly chunky. Neither dance nor chill-out; rather a permanent fall of color. after some 30 years of playing together in various configs, paul and I are releasing our first album as a duo.
