A small section from my new film, Tragedy of the Horizons, which explores the legacy of standardized time. In this section I’m reading from Ursula Le Guin’s novel, Threshold, in which a supermarket cashier inadvertently discovers another world through some kind of portal in a forest, where all manner of wondrous things await him. I stumbled across this beautiful 1982 edition of the novel in a dusty second hand bookshop in Holborn. What a cover. by @george_selley
