I still actually can’t quite believe that Ive just completed the London Marathon 2025… during lockdown, I could barely complete couch to 5k… honestly without sounding like a cheese board… you can literally totally redesign yourself if you really REALLY want to, or, if like me you grow bored of your old self… you force the necessary change! A 100km ultra, the toughest of 18km mudders, a hyrox and now a marathon… all in my 40th year! My children are my reason to be better… as I want them to see their own endless potential and capabilities, rather than living in the self made box with self volunteered limitations! I highly recommend anyone and everyone to take that “thing they can’t do” and set a target based on proving yourself wrong! “Make your weaknesses your strengths”
I hear so often… “oh I can’t…” or “I couldn’t do that”

Back to back London marathons, in back to back heat, and a 20 minute PB (official TCS time was 4:42 but Strava one looks better 🖕🏼🤣). This wasn’t my day today but it still ended up positive. The most excruciating blister from mile 5 (had no blisters at all in training runs), bruising and tenderness to the outer part of my foot no idea why, and negative thoughts way sooner then I needed them. I thought I’d glide the first 25km but if anything they were my hardest mentally. It all felt like a slog but we got it done and I’m happy with the experience. But I know I’ve got a 4:15/4:20 in the tank 🫠 What a day with amazing friends, the best family supporters and I urge everyone to do something like this. What’s living without adventures and achievements. by @georgebreadmore84

I am offline at the moment and have been since tuesday. Elsie decided to take my phone down the water slide in Spain and £500 quid later, i am still offline...

I hope to have it fixed later today (having an absolute mare with my icloud backup/new phone set up)... by @georgebreadmore84

My boy… this holiday was such a huge milestone. The first time in nearly 4 years that you’ve managed to go abroad PLASTIC FREE! Albert underwent surgery and had his Central line (implanted port / central venous catheter) removed a few weeks ago and at first he was a little self conscious and confused to where his “wiggly” had gone! But to see him on holiday… shirt off… bowling down to the pool and being so physically active and confident… it meant everything to me. “Throw me daddy” and screams of “AGAIN” as soon as he came back out the water. Holding his little scarred body and feeling it without tubes, or plasters or other foreign bodies… literally EVERYTHING 🥹🥹! Albert George… LETS GO!!! by @georgebreadmore84

A Marathon is light work… with this little face living rent free in my mind. The don that is Albert George Breadmore. I’ll go to war with my own mind and he’ll be right there to hold my hand through it all… this kid taught me that excuses won’t work. What a day for it and all for the fantastic @younglivesvscancer - another £2500 raised between us… and still climbing. Just the Full London marathon to go. Running for such a wonderful charity that we owe so much too… and doing it alongside your best mate… that was a Sunday to remember @neilcam83 taken in Trafalgar Square by @georgebreadmore84
