Your children are watching. You’re the blueprint for how they view discipline, health, and balance.

1. Ditch the “Perfect Time” Myth: Stop waiting for a gap in your schedule. Build momentum in the chaos. 20 minutes of daily action beats a “perfect” two-hour block that never comes.

2. Master Your Mornings: Own your first 30 minutes. Hydrate, move, and plan before the world demands your attention.

3. Command Your Boundaries: Stop over-explaining your “no.” Protect your energy for what matters; saying no to the trivial is saying yes to your family.

4. Presence > Paychecks: Provide for your family, absolutely. But do not make the mistake of equating your bank balance with your worth as a parent. Your children will not remember how many hours you logged at the office but they will remember whether or not you were truly there.

5. Address Tensions Early: Don’t let resentment build. Have the tough conversations now rather than living with the regret of silence later.

6. Train for Longevity: Stop training for abs and start training for life. Build the strength and energy required to show up for your kids for decades to come

Take ownership. Your future and their depends on it. by @georgepearcecoaching

TLDR: Winning in life because I bet on myself and built this brick by brick.

The last 18 months have taught me so much about myself. The words to describe it are resilience, steadfast, discipline and determination. I am incredibly proud because it was earned (slowly and sometimes painfully).

I was overweight for most of my adolescent and adult life. Lacked confidence in my body and bigger than most of my friends. Growing up, “skinny” was the ideal body type and that was never me. I was beautiful but always bigger. And the only way to lose weight were slim fast shakes and salads…starving. Unsustainable crash dieting methods that I barely attempted. I had NO clue about nutrition, building strength and fueling my body for what it needed.

Things really started to turn after I had kids. I look back now and I had given up then, but I just didn’t know it. Weekly Levain cookies (“because YOLO”), unlimited takeout/ convenience meals and an absolutely sedentary lifestyle….I couldn’t even recognize the girl in pictures. Every retake/ new angle would yield the same results and I thought that can’t be me, because that’s not who I see in the mirror.

At some point I just accepted that this might be my fate. Everything was fine…But everything wasn’t fine. I was constantly tired, had high blood pressure, PCOS, pre-diabetes, sleep apnea and monthly I’d see younger people on my autopsy table die from obesity related complications and heart disease. I finally decided I couldn’t just accept my problems and hope medications fix it. I hit my rock bottom and lost myself physically and mentally but had NO idea how to climb out. I was desperate to find me again but was overwhelmed with the prospect of figuring it out myself.

When I decided to take control, I couldn’t look at the bigger picture. How much weight I TRULY had to lose and the strength I had to gain to get to a healthy body from my heaviest weight. I had to take it day by day to not get overwhelmed. It certainly was not perfect. So many reasons to fall off or stall. But I just kept on going with no intentions of stopping. I was able to shed 60 lbs over the last 1.5 years, which is still something I haven’t wrapped my hea by @georgepearcecoaching

Ankush, a dad, a life coach, and already a KMAK Fitness success story, faced a different kind of question after his first photoshoot in October 2023: what do you do once you’ve reached the goal? He’d lost 26.5lbs and finally seen the lean physique he’d been chasing, but lean wasn’t the end point he had in mind. He wanted to look like someone built by years of training, not just a few months of dieting.

So instead of cutting further, he chose the path most people are too nervous to take. A structured reverse diet brought his food back up step by step, and a dedicated gaining phase put that fuel to work in the gym. It meant watching the scale climb and trusting the process anyway, all while eating as a vegetarian without cow’s milk and keeping up with his family and his own clients. By August 2026, he was ready to step back in front of the camera for round two.

The results:
✅ 3kg heavier than his first shoot, and leaner
✅ Noticeably more muscle mass
✅ Stronger in the gym than ever before
✅ A full reverse diet and gaining phase, done with patience instead of panic

Nearly three years after his first shoot, Ankush isn’t just in shape for a camera. He’s built a body that keeps improving, and he’s showing his son that progress doesn’t stop the moment you prove a point.

Getting lean was the goal. Getting better became the habit. 🙌🏼 by @georgepearcecoaching
