Musings of late:

“Embarrassment is the most under explored emotion when it comes to success. Successful people get comfortable with it and grow from their willingness to learn through failure.
The entire world is run by people no smarter than you and I. If you want it, go get it.”

“Never count something to your advantage if it’s ever going to force you to break a promise, relinquish your modesty, hate or suspect or curse anyone, dissemble, or desire something that needs to be concealed behind walls or curtains.” Marcus Aurelius

“Do not mistake the adrenaline of novelty for the nourishment of intimacy”

“Real attraction is obsessive, everything else is a slow exit.”

One doesn’t commonly see people becoming miserable as a result of not taking note of what’s going on in someone else’s soul, but anyone who’s unaware of the activity of his is own soul can’t help but be miserable.

To progress further in any way, you must first surrender the need for this moment to be perfect

Your weaknesses must be revealed to be overcome.

It takes disciple to improve, but first it takes courage to see yourself as you really are

One day it will be the last time. Never do it tomorrow.

Doing this run for the second time over 10 years later (and with the bro) was such a good moment, life gets hectic and so much happens you never know if you’ll get back to do some of the great things you’ve enjoyed. Never take a day for granted and do more things that realise the incredible opportunities today affords you!
