Art is life!

The loveliest thing about design is that it is an Art—therefore it’s fluid. Although there are general rules & guidelines to design, the rules can be bent & shaped & sometimes even ignored. Because it is fluid, it is like life—it’s ever changing

And for this reason we should welcome & embrace change, and allow for our own designs and interests to change over time because we change over time!

Allow yourself to make changes to your home & to the spaces that you live in as they should reflect the way that you are today 🌙🌸 by @georgestilodesign

Everyone seems to be afraid of using color in their designs nowadays… but there’s no reason to shy away from it!

Being bold and using color is precisely how you bring a room to life. I mean — imagine if the trees and the sky and the ocean water were all neutral colors all the time
💀

I know that it can be daunting to have to pick a color for a piece of furniture or to paint the walls with. But that’s my speciality ☺️ & I’m here to help! taken in Sarasota Art Museum of Ringling College by @georgestilodesign

Spent the afternoon meeting with a client at the beautiful @artovationhotel !

One of the first steps in my process is to meet with a client at a place that isn’t their residence, as we meet for the first or second time to discuss their vision & ideas. I love getting to know who they are in order to tailor the design to their true essence!

What better place to have these conversations than Artovation, where the ambience and artwork is such an inspiration that it only adds to our conversation and experience 🌈💙 taken in Art Ovation Hotel - Sarasota, FL by @georgestilodesign

What a wonderful museum to visit here in Sarasota while also doubling as a beautiful piece of architectural history. We’re so glad that they were able to preserve this building that used to be the Sarasota High School.

Visiting buildings and places like this are such an inspiration, which I find so enriching to my creative process. Highly recommend it!

Adding color to your living space is such an important quality that people seem to neglect nowadays as the trends are all about neutral colors 🙄

Personally I love adding vibrant colors to my designs, as even the smallest pieces of decor or art with color can bring so much life to the space!! taken in Sarasota Art Museum of Ringling College by @georgestilodesign

Here at the Sarasota Art Museum in downtown Sarasota, FL. If you haven’t been here, you’re about to uncover an absolute gem of a museum!

This beautiful gift shop inside was a pleasure to see, with several elegant objects that would work perfect in a living space as well as other games & items to add to your home.

Buying objects and decor from several different places—even places you wouldn’t quite think of, like a museum store gift shop, is an excellent way to make your home uniquely yours! by @georgestilodesign

Choosing the right hardware for your home is like choosing the right jewelry to match with your outfit. These “accessories”are the details that make all the difference; they add the necessary elegance and sometimes even flair to tie everything together!

I recently stopped by a showroom in downtown SRQ to look for door handles for a client. This is the beautiful display that I get to choose from 💙🌈 by @georgestilodesign
