Gear Up, End Cancer!

When you support Team Capitol Campus in the BellRinger Ride this Oct. 23–24, you're bringing us closer to finding a cure for cancer.

We’re asking our community to rally together with a symbolic gift of $17.89 in honor of the University’s founding year. This small but meaningful contribution celebrates our Georgetown roots while bringing our community together to support cancer research and care.

Whether you ride, volunteer, or donate, every single effort makes a difference.

Join Team Capitol Campus or donate $17.89 at the link in our bio!

Anthony Choi’s (G’28) career trajectory has evolved over the years, from communications strategy to Army service and now federal IT solutions.

To scale his skills as the AI sector expands, Choi is returning to school for his Master of Professional Studies in Artificial Intelligence Management through @georgetownscs this fall.

“My goal is to help organizations adopt AI while meeting rigorous security, governance and compliance requirements,” said Choi, who will continue working full-time as he earns his master's.

What do fried chicken and the Met Gala have in common? Kelsea Wilkerson (G’18) turned one of fashion’s biggest nights into an unexpected cultural moment with the help of a Colonel Sanders. “No brand had done anything truly impactful or ownable at the Met Gala,” she said. “I wanted KFC to be the first.” #LinkInBio by @georgetownscs

Jared Salcedo (G'25, G'27) has been named an inaugural member of the DisCover Fellowship, a groundbreaking cross-disciplinary initiative from Georgetown's @gudisabilityculture that supports students in developing projects on disability studies and culture.

Salcedo, a Master of Professional Studies student in Artificial Intelligence Management at @georgetownscs, is writing a longform essay exploring how AI-assisted communications tools are reshaping the way ability is expressed, evaluated and recognized. His project pairs illustrative vignettes with analysis grounded in disabilities studies and AI ethics to evaluate what's being measured when we assess competence in an increasingly AI-mediated world.

"The award affirms that questions about disability, AI and perception belong at the center of how we think about technology, rather than at its margins," said Salcedo, who previously earned a Master of Professional Studies in Project Management from the School of Continuing Studies. "I am grateful to carry that work forward alongside the other fellows and the mentorship of the Disability Cultural Center and the Disability Studies Program."
