Just wrapped up a fun little animation project I've been working on over the past couple of days. 💼💡

While on the move in SEA, I've been soaking in the sights, especially these stunning lanterns that seem to be everywhere. Couldn't resist infusing some neon/cyber/synth vibes into the mix! ⚡

Traveling and working remotely has been such a game-changer for sparking creativity. 🌏Experiencing new cultures and sights is a great way of fueling inspiration like nothing else.

planning to share a short breakdown of this in the next post as well 👍

Would love to hear your thoughts on this project. feel free to drop any feedback you have!

Cheers! 🍻

Some practice I made with stock assets from Envato. I wanted to focus on texturing/composition/lighting. I'm happy with the result and I might animate it somehow we'll see

SIGNALNOISE GameBoy
as a huge fan of the amazing James White aka @signalnoise , I wanted to pay homage to his work and as one who grew up playing video games (and especially the GameBoy Color) I thought about making an intro animation for a Youtube channel using Jame's GameBoy design as a reference.

FuryMachine
I remember the days I used to go to the arcade with my friends playing Mortal Kombat and Teenage Ninja Turtles, and until this day it's one of my most fond memories. ever since then my dream was to have my own arcade cabinet. fortunately, a co-worker of mine happened to be a hobbyist woodworker that specialize in arcade cabinets! imagine that!
of course I had to ask him to build me one (wasn't cheap but totally worth it!) and I made custom decals featuring some of my favourite media of all time, combined with my love to Synthwave aesthetics - thus came into existence - the Fury Machine!
