~Beauty in the South & Central Americas~

The Andes in Peru, the current Kundalini spiritual epicentre that holds the divine feminine energy for the world. The current masculine energy anchored in the Himalayas in India and Tibet. Over the course of a week I got to take part in ceremonies and learn so much from incredibly powerful family members who were born and raised in the Amazonian jungle.

Natural glacial waters of Cordillera Blanca

Like leaves on a tree. A leaf falls, returns to the earth and becomes part of the soil. The tree draws it back through its roots, and in time it emerges again in new life. Nothing remains the same, yet nothing is entirely lost-it transforms.

Drinking fresh glacial water in Huaraz

Huacachina the desert oasis, local legend says the spirit of an Inca maiden still lives beneath the waters of Huacachina, transformed into the mermaid of the oasis.

The witches market in Bolivia, where you can ask for potions and dried llama fetuses, known as sullus, traditionally offered to Pachamama. In Andean spirituality they’re believed to bring protection, prosperity and good fortune, buried beneath the foundations of new homes facing the sun as an offering to the Earth.

Costa Rica, living in community for a couple of weeks with the Envision Festival community on a volcanic beach in the jungle surrounded by toucans, sloths and monkeys. Probably the most boncas time of my life.

Chicama - home to the longest left-hand wave in the world and the first wave on Earth to receive legal protection, waves here can last for minutes.

Cenote’s in Tulum

Sacred to the ancient Maya cenotes are believed to connect the human world with Xibalba, the underworld.
