This past Sunday, I ran the Marine Corps Marathon — and out of all the races I’ve done, this one truly hit different. Every single mile carried meaning, but Mile 12 hit the hardest. It was for all the fallen — a powerful reminder of sacrifice and gratitude.

I may not have hit a personal record this time, but I gained something even greater: perspective, experience, and a memory that will last forever.
