FOR YOUR GRAMMY® CONSIDERATION

I’m proud to share that I Got Life: The Music of Nina Simone is being put forward for Grammy® consideration in the Best Jazz Vocal Album category.

This project celebrates the timeless music and legacy of Nina Simone, brought to life through Carol Riddick’s incredible vocal talents and a powerhouse band of exceptional musicians. It’s been a privilege to be part of a project that honors such an iconic artist while showcasing the depth, artistry, and spirit of the music.

I’m grateful to share this musical journey with Carol, Aaron Graves, Tim Hutson, and the entire team. Projects like this are a reminder of the power of collaboration and the incredible talent that continues to come out of Philadelphia’s jazz and soul community.

Thank you to everyone who listens, shares, and supports the music. We’re honored to put this work forward for consideration, and we wish all the artists and projects the best during First-Round Grammy® Voting. #FYC #foryourconsideration #music by @gerald_veasley

Thank you Gerald Veasley for having me back at SOUTH! 🎷 I casually mentioned I was hungry… apparently that was all they needed to hear. 😂😂

Now I’m sitting here looking at all this food like I made a terrible miscalculation. 😩🤣 I’m a happy man, but I need backup. Somebody… anybody… PLEASE HELP! 😂🍽️ taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @gerald_veasley
