My newest album, Who We Are, is out everywhere today! Some of you were in the room in 2021 at @drphillipsctr when we were masked up performing some of these songs for the first time. Or maybe you saw a live-streamed performance from @timucuaarts or @bluebambooartcenter. Wherever or whenever you’ve popped in to support, I appreciate you! And now you can take this music home with you.

Thank you to all the amazing people who contributed to this idea becoming a reality. There’s so much more to do and share, but today we celebrate 🎉

Getting to share a special acoustic version of Brighter for @visitorlando was truly a dream. Always an honor to share my story and celebrate the city that means so much to me! ☀️🧡

A HUGE thank you to the PHENOMENAL @VisitOrlando team for this beautiful opportunity, my AMAZING band @chetgass on Guitar & @geraldlawmusic on Djembe for bringing this song to life in such a special way, and of course, my incredible husband who is a literal dream maker!

9.4.26 #GoodFriend

Continuing to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the release of Who We Are with a new music video!

“Good Friend” continues the simple but essential message of the album: accepting people as they are and leaning on the fact that our humanity is reason enough to treat each other with respect.

The music video drops tomorrow (9/4/26) at 12pm EST!

Special shout out to our director @henrysevere and assistant director @simpleblyss for making it happen!

I’ll share more about the amazing cast tomorrow! ❤️

Remnants of Home 🎶🎶❤️

I had such a great experience preparing this piece. This premiere was centered around the art work of @meatvoid on display at @ahmaitland and the preparation was probably one of my favorite phases of this project. In addition to the artwork itself and Mär’s write ups about the collection, we had the opportunity to read about her experience in Istanbul and get a glimpse of her daily interactions from which she drew inspiration. Having a clearer picture of the foundation of her work provided me with a deepened connection in the crafting process for this piece.

An absolutely special thanks to @cfcomposers for the opportunity to write these pieces, as well as @ahmaitland @howeymusicseries for the collaboration and @muditaamerica for these awesome musicians who helped this one come alive. The clip here is from the closing of the piece.

Thank you to @cfcomposers @openscene_org @musiva_orlando @timucuaarts for a beautiful night of music! My new piece “If Anyone Wants to Know” was premiered Saturday night and I’m grateful to these musicians who helped breathe life into it!

The piece was set to Pedro Mir’s poem SI ALGUIEN QUIERE SABER CUÁL ES MI PATRIA (IF ANYONE WANTS TO KNOW WHAT MY HOMELAND IS). The clip here is the closing passage.

happy first day of school to the coolest kids! 💫 we love these two so much and while they seem to be growing up way too fast, every new milestone brings so much joy. 🥹

Three creatives. One conversation. So much inspiration. ✨🎶

A heartfelt thank you to the two amazing artists who trusted the vision and joined me for this arts in health panel and engagement. Cienna and Gerald, your music, authenticity, and passion brought so much life to this experience, and I’m grateful to have curated and shared space with you. Thank you for the work you do on and off stages.

Here’s to collaboration, meaningful dialogue, and creating together.✨💫
