Many years ago my wife’s grandfather and his brother owned a Butcher shop at Old Town Mall. The building where it resided is long gone along with a lot of other businesses! And walking around you’d assume time had all but forgotten this pocket of Baltimore which was once a vibrant commercial destination. Melted away are the snow mountains that resided there in an empty lot til about spring, most businesses are closed up… but despite the outward appearance resides hope! There are still quite a few businesses there! Exemplifying the resilience of Baltimore!

There’s @covermecmellc who’s owner gave off such a wonderful and welcoming energy! A thrift store with a huge collection and even better prices! There’s also @nevermore.baltimore that opens this weekend, a haunted attraction that I’m def planning on going to! It was a reminder of how resilient our city is. taken in Old Towne Mall by @geraldmaxphotography

8 years!!

It’s been one hell of a ride! Waking up everyday and choosing you is truly a blessing. I can barely put into words the last 8 years. So much life! A beautiful blessed life! I am grateful everyday that you chose me, and support me and love me like no one before you. Every step of the way you’ve supported me. I am a better man because of you! You’ve taught me how to be vulnerable, and how to communicate. You’ve taught me that no matter what as long as the two of us are together nothing can stop us. I love you so much! I can’t wait to see what the next 8 years and beyond are like.
