🇹🇿 A GRATEFUL MOMENT FOR TANZANIA 🇹🇿

I would like to sincerely express my gratitude to Your Excellency, the Tanzanian Ambassador in Germany, for the warm welcome and for the great honour of being invited to the Embassy of Tanzania here in Berlin.

It was a privilege to be received and to have the opportunity to share my journey, experiences, and the work we young Tanzanians are doing to represent our nation with discipline, dedication, and pride.

As a young Tanzanian athlete, representing my country is more than a personal achievement it is a responsibility. Every step, every race, and every opportunity is a chance to carry the name of Tanzania 🇹🇿 with respect and humility.

Thank you, Your Excellency, for recognizing and encouraging the efforts of young Tanzanians. Your support and words of encouragement mean a great deal to us.

I remain committed to working hard, staying disciplined, and continuing to make Tanzania proud wherever my journey takes me.

Asante sana kwa heshima, ukarimu, na nafasi hii muhimu. 🇹🇿❤️

🇹🇿 Tomorrow, I run for Tanzania.
Tomorrow, I run for everyone who believed in me. 🏃🏽‍♂️❤️

My first-ever World Major Marathon. My first Berlin Marathon. And the honor of standing on the Elite Line A start line is something
I will never take for granted.

From Tanzania to Berlin, every step has been built through sacrifice, discipline, faith, and hard work. Tomorrow, I will give everything I have and enjoy every moment of this special journey.

27.09.2026 — Berlin Marathon.
One race. One dream. One proud Tanzanian. 🇹🇿

Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity to meet two legends of distance running in Berlin.

One is @gabrielgeraldgeay, my fellow Tanzanian and national record holder, with an outstanding marathon PB of 2:03:00. 🇹🇿🔥

The other is Claus-Henning Schulke, famously known as @bottle_claus the man whose dedication and precision have made him an important part of some historic marathon performances. Claus has been involved with the Berlin Marathon since 1998 and has personally delivered bottles to Eliud Kipchoge, & Kenenisa Bekele including during his world-record performances in Berlin.

Meeting these two men reminded me that great achievements in running are never built by one person alone. Behind every extraordinary performance are discipline, teamwork, sacrifice, and people who believe in doing even the smallest things with excellence.

As a Tanzanian athlete chasing my own dreams on the roads of Berlin, meeting Gabriel and Claus was a special moment that I will always remember.

Legends inspire legends. The journey continues.
🇩🇪🇹🇿🏃🏾‍♂️❤️

More Than a Finish Line

Some people see a runner crossing the finish line.
I see a dream becoming real.

Every step carries the weight of sacrifice, Hard work in training , and days when giving up felt easier. But he kept moving.

And in this moment, I not just celebrating a race.
I celebrating every time I chose not to quit.

The finish line is temporary.
The strength you build on the way there stays forever. 🏃🏾‍♂️❤️‍🔥

Today, I had the honor of following the footsteps of my role model, Mr Eliud Kipchoge. 🏃🏿‍♂️🌍

From the same streets where a legend once celebrated his victory, I felt a reminder that great dreams begin with small steps.

I may still be on my journey, but I believe one day my footsteps will inspire someone else too. ❤️

The journey continues. 🇹🇿🇩🇪🏃🏿‍♂️✨ taken in Berlin, Deutschland by @geraldsalum018
