Over the course of my career, I have trained thousands of artists from every part of the world. I have seen talents born, grow, and become extraordinary. I have seen professionals transform their art, companies take shape, brands establish themselves, and ideas become reality. I have seen many dreams take form. Yet, working with you @kindredlubeck has been different. Because it is rare to encounter an artist capable of uniting talent, discipline, beauty, and humility in such an authentic way. It is rare to witness someone who, despite having already reached extraordinary heights, chooses every day to step back into the game as if at the very beginning of their journey. And when this happens, you feel it immediately. In the energy of every gesture. In the care behind every choice. In the total dedication with which you gave your heart and soul to your project. Because over these years, you have turned a dream into reality. And then that reality into something even greater. Without compromises. Without shortcuts. Without fear. Because your goal is not simply to create jewelry. It is to create the finest jewelry in the world. Perfect jewelry. Jewelry capable of holding a moment, a lifetime, an eternal emotion. To achieve this, you have infused every part of your existence into the constant pursuit of beauty and perfection. Not as abstract concepts, but as responsibilities. Because true beauty requires time. It requires respect. It requires sacrifice. In an industry where, too often, even major brands sacrifice beauty in the name of speed and profit, you have succeeded in proving that true art and true excellence accept no compromises. The world has a deep need for artists like you. Because authentic dreams are not negotiable. Within a true dream lies the power of an entire lifetime. There is the unrepeatable moment of a gesture, of a piece of jewelry, that inspires, that remains, that lives. And you, Kindred, through your work, make that gesture eternal. Who I am ? My name is Pier Paolo Gerardi, I am the owner and master of the Accademia Delle Arti Orafe the N.1 high jewelry School in Italy. Founder of the "Gerardi Stone Setting School", the biggest setting school in the world. But first and foremost I am a researcher and an innovator. In fact, you should know that my entire life has been dedicated to researching the best setting techniques. A path that was anything but easy, considering that at the time, it was very difficult, if not impossible, to find masters in Italy willing to share their secrets. Despite the fact that one of the best stone setters in Rome taught at the Academy, founded by my father, who was also my first teacher, I soon realised that this knowledge was not enough to create something truly innovative. I therefore decided to embark on a long journey, choosing to dedicate my entire life to the constant search for perfection. I studied, experimented and searched everywhere for techniques and tools to combine in my broader vision of jewellery and its teaching. On every trip, wherever I went, I realised that only through constant research and innovation could something truly unique be created. My goal was to create a completely practical method of study that would enable my students to become the best setters. Thus, after years of research, I was able to revolutionise the concept of teaching and create my own teaching method, the 'Trinocular Setting Method'. The Trinocular Setting Method, which takes its name from the microscopes with which it is taught, is the result of years of experimentation and encapsulates my essence and vision of jewellery. But now I don't want to tell you any more about myself, because I think that it is the results of my students that should tell you. Continue reading in the comments ⬇️ by @gerardi_setting_school
Every once in a while my job allows me to meet some really amazing people. Ryan @ciscogrovejewelry is a young man who decided to leave California 🇺🇸and come here to Italy to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional setter. Now I would like to tell you about who Ryan is. Ryan is not only a jewelry talent and one of the most tireless workers I have ever met, but above all he is one of the most beautiful people and souls you could ever meet. Ryan my dear friend...you must know that I feel so honored to have been able to be a part of your life and I feel so proud of what you have been able to achieve in these months. As we come to the end, I want to tell you that even though I will miss our classes a lot, I feel really happy. Because the future is now Ryan, Your future is now. And I am sure it will be great, because you are an artist and because no one deserves it more than you. There are people who wait for the opportunity of a lifetime, and there are people who forge that opportunity with their own hands. @designs.by.maxx belongs to this second, rare category. His journey into the world of jewelry began in the hardest and most authentic way possible: alone, in silence, in front of a workbench. With no masters to guide his hand, he spent entire nights challenging the metal, making mistakes, melting, starting over, and trying again. His strength was born not only from natural talent, but from fierce dedication and an extraordinary work ethic. Every scar on his hands, every line carved into the silver of his rings tells the story of a self-taught artist who refused to surrender to his own limits, transforming a solitary passion into a successful brand acclaimed around the world. But for a true artist, achievement is never a final destination. It is always the beginning of something new. When Maxx walked through the doors of Gerardi Setting School, he did not come to rest on the success he had already achieved. He came to challenge himself once again, with the humility that belongs to the truly great. He chose to sit behind the microscope, to take up the gravers, and to absorb the secrets of high jewelry with one clear and unwavering goal: to master the art of absolute precision and become one of the finest stone setters in the world. Watching him work here, day after day, has been an inspiration to all of us. His concentration is total. His eyes reveal the hunger of someone determined to push beyond every limit. Maxx is not simply an incredible worker. He is the living embodiment of what it means to have fire within. My friend, you are now ready to make the world’s most precious stones shine with the light of absolute perfection. And I am certain that the world has not yet seen your greatest masterpiece. Today, more than ever: The Future is Now. The Future is Yours. With love, Pier by @gerardi_setting_school
A masterpiece of fine jewellery crafted by our master jeweller @sergio_schiaffini Starting with a solid ring, built entirely from scratch, Sergio has created a piece of extraordinary complexity: a pavé setting that wraps around the surface and continues down the sides, alternating white and deep pink stones in a geometric pattern that elegantly follows the contours of the jewellery. The challenge lies in every detail: distributing stones of different sizes across curved surfaces, preparing each individual setting and ensuring the stones are set with continuity, balance and precision. A task that demands exceptional technical mastery, patience and an artistic sensibility honed through experience. Sergio has poured a great deal of passion into this creation, attending to every step with the dedication of someone who deeply loves his craft. And the result speaks for itself: a ring with a commanding presence, rich in light and colour, capable of leaving one speechless. Congratulations. In this masterpiece, one can see your hands, your experience and all the heart you have put into creating it. The future is now ! Pier 💎 by @gerardi_setting_school

There are no words to describe how happy I am. When that phone call came, we were left speechless. Over the past few years, we have worked tirelessly, dedicating ourselves every single day to building something truly unique in the world of high jewelry. And today, knowing that even Forbes has chosen to tell our story is an emotion that is difficult to put into words. For me, this represents one of the most important milestones of my life. The thought that my brother and I have managed to create a school unlike any other is still something I struggle to fully comprehend. But what makes me proudest is not the numbers, the achievements, or the recognition. It is the people. Having built a place where students are supported, encouraged, listened to, and valued. A school that does not simply teach, but helps people believe in themselves. A school that stands by you when you make mistakes, helps you get back up when you fall, and strives every day to bring out the very best within you. A school without colors. Without divisions. A school where people from all over the world are united by one great passion: JEWELRY. This is the future I dreamed of for my school. Those who know me know that, as a young man, I had a difficult relationship with traditional education. I remember teachers telling me what I would never become. I remember criticism, judgment, and words that sought to tear down rather than build up. But to those people, I want to say thank you. Because perhaps it is also thanks to them that I developed the determination that brought me here. And above all, because they taught me one fundamental lesson: That I would build a school where no student would ever feel the way I once felt. The Academy has become the place where I wish I had grown up, and the place where I continue to grow every single day. I dedicate this achievement to all of you. To our students. To those who follow us. To those who entrust us with their dreams and their confidence every day. Thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Today more than ever… The Future Is Now. An incredible piece of jewellery created by our student during the gravermax course, starting from 0 next only aroud 6/7 weeks by the artist @goldschmiede_avalone What quality and what exceptional technique! Well done congratulations on your achievement The future is now Pir by @gerardi_setting_school
There are people who do not merely learn a technique, but manage to transform it into a true art form. @ffioncainesart is one of them. With extraordinary imagination and a truly unique artistic sensibility, she has created two extraordinary engravings. The first is a spectacular abstract composition which, upon closer inspection, reveals the figure of a majestic dragon. A masterpiece rich in intricate detailing, shading, volume and incredible detail, capable of telling a story through metal. The second is an elegant ring adorned with refined classical motifs, executed with extreme precision and a perfect balance between technique and aesthetic sensibility. A piece that demonstrates great mastery of the burin and remarkable artistic maturity. The most surprising thing is that Fion has reached this level in such a short space of time. An achievement born of talent, dedication and a genuine passion for this wonderful art form. Well done, Fion! We are truly proud of your journey and are certain that this is just the beginning of a career full of great rewards. The future is now ! We are incredibly proud of our former student @andrearuzza_jewelry . 💎 Andrea attended our Academy in 2021-2022. Today, in his own workshop, he creates extraordinary jewellery with an exceptional standard of stone setting pieces that bring together precision, attention to detail and artistic sensitivity. Watching a former student forge his own path and achieve such remarkable results is one of the greatest rewards of teaching. Training is a starting point: commitment, dedication and daily practice are what turn it into something truly special. Congratulations, Andrea. We are proud to have been part of your journey and couldn’t be happier to celebrate your achievements. by @gerardi_setting_school
