✨Throwing it back to the magic of Aspera Astra!✨

We’re excited to repost this incredible short film—this time in its full-length glory! 🎥💫
Aspera Astra isn’t just a story; it’s a celebration of collaboration and creativity, shining a spotlight on local designer fashion. 🌟

From the Ice World to the Jungle, the Desert, the Wonderland, and the Crystal Cave, each fictional planet showcased the extraordinary artistry and teamwork behind the scenes.

Directed by the amazing @gerfriedguggi this film wouldn’t have been possible without his bold imagination and passion for creating. Using virtual production, Gerfried led us in crafting worlds that could only exist in dreams, bringing the Seeker’s journey to life. 🌌✨

Directors Statement „Driven by passion we set out to create a visual stage for Austrian fashion industry. Not only we wanted to set the mood for the styles we found in a diverse wardrobe offered to us but also we wanted to try something challenging. A new tool that gave us opportunities to enhance our craft, our imagination. Using virtual production we tried to create worlds that we couldn’t find physically, that we created just in our imagination. So the story of the Seeker travelling the unknown naturally unfolded during preparing for this short fashion film.“

A huge congratulations to @adilozancic for winning Best Actor/Model at the @sarajevofashionfilm 2023—what an honor, and so well-deserved for his stunning portrayal of the Seeker. 🌟🏆
Special thanks to Film Commission Graz for their support, which helped bring this vision to life.

Originally shared to highlight the power of collaboration across technical and creative fields, Aspera Astra continues to inspire us. For many involved, it was their first experience with a project of this scale, but their passion and dedication turned an ambitious vision into reality.
Reliving this masterpiece reminds us of what’s possible when we work together to create something truly unforgettable - excellence through unity!💖 👗✨

"Whatever it takes to get the shot!" - seen as a vehicle. We not only use the Cine Cayenne for our own productions, but we are also guns for hire. All terrain camera service if you like. Let's get in touch and create something!

Amazing photos by @mariohainzl

Honorable mention: @pollockpictures sorry for pinching your key phrase. 😇

‚To take time off is an important process of my work.’ Can’t tell you who said it, but it becomes more and more important as I move towards my 10 year work anniversary in the film industry. .
