OPENING NEXT WEEK 📣 Cartellino is proud to present 𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙛-𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, a group exhibition featuring 𝗡𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘀, 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗲𝗻, and 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗶 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀, opening on Friday, October 17, at Cartellino.

Memories meet us, more often than not, at the edges of our comprehension. They are reworked and recontextualized, lodged in places deep within us that pierce and placate and soften and sever. These works, an offering by Nicole Bitas, Geri Mae Gonzales, and Agatha Gawaen, are visual snapshots cloaked in memory’s half-light, flickering with sentiment: nostalgia, regret, longing. These works, though varied in their approach, reach out to the void that memory creates between the past and present, and return with something like that of a gift: you are here.

We had a stray cat that would just hang out in our back garden during the pandemic. We never really adopted him but we would feed him and he eventually became friends with our dog Mercedes. One day, he left and never came back and ngl it's left a hole ever since. Hope he's happy wherever he is tho :) taken in Galerie Stephanie by @gerimpg
