🎇 Fireworks BAN ⭕️ for Berlin’s 🇩🇪 New Year’s Eve Hotspots ⭕️

✅ On 23 December 🗓️, the Berlin police 👮 published corresponding general decrees in the Official Gazette for Berlin.

✅ A new restricted zone has been established at 📍 Admiralbrücke in Kreuzberg. For the first time, fireworks 🧨 are prohibited 🚫 there, as well as in the adjacent side streets and on the playground on the central reservation of Grimmstraße.

✅ As in previous years, further restricted areas are located at 📍 Alexanderplatz, in the Steinmetzkiez neighbourhood in Schöneberg and on part of Sonnenallee.

✅ The ban is in effect ⏰ from 6 pm on New Year’s Eve until 6 am 🕕 on New Year’s Day. Only sparklers, firecrackers and table fireworks, i.e. category F1 pyrotechnic articles, are permitted in the prohibited zones. Knives and weapons are prohibited.

🇳🇱 Amsterdam - Berlin - Hamburg 🇩🇪

✅ GoVolta is a new Dutch private operator that is going to revolutionize international 🚄 rail travel in Europe 🇪🇺 with its new direct daytime connections between 🇳🇱 Amsterdam and Berlin 🇩🇪 and Hamburg 🇩🇪

✅ The first GoVolta trains will depart from Amsterdam 🇳🇱Centraal to Berlin 🇩🇪 on 19 March 2026 🗓️, followed by the launch of the 🇳🇱 Amsterdam–Hamburg 🇩🇪 route the next day, on 20 March 2026 🗓️. These routes will initially operate three times per week, offering same-day return services for both destinations 🚄

✅ München – Ein Lotto-Spieler hat vor über drei Jahren Millionen abgeräumt, sich aber bis heute nicht gemeldet. Jetzt droht der Gewinn zu verfallen. Derzeit warten sogar drei Millionengewinne darauf, abgeholt zu werden.

✅ High-speed trains 🚄 will connect Munich 🇩🇪 with Milan 🇮🇹 and Rome 🇮🇹 from 2026 🗓️

✅ Deutsche Bahn (DB), Trenitalia, and ÖBB have signed a cooperation agreement to introduce new high-speed passenger services between Germany 🇩🇪 and Italy 🇮🇹 via Austria 🇦🇹

✅ Two new routes are to be launched initially:

👉 Munich – Milan (approx. 6.5 hours)
👉 Munich – Rome (approx. 8.5 hours)

✅ The route to Milan will pass through Innsbruck, Bolzano, Trento, Rovereto, Verona, and Brescia. The service to Rome will follow the same path until Verona, then continue via Bologna and Florence.

⭕️ Direct 🇬🇧 UK– 🇩🇪 Germany rail route 🚄

✅ Eurostar and Deutsche Bahn plan direct London–Germany high-speed rail by early 2030s, making 🛤️ travel easier and more 💰 business-focused

✅ Set to start in the early 2030s, the routes would use Eurostar’s new double-decker Celestia fleet, which offers 20% more capacity and makes up to 50% in energy savings compared with its existing fleet.

✅ Offering direct city centre to city centre connection, passengers could soon travel between London and Cologne in around 4 hours and Frankfurt in just over 5 hours, providing more choice, more comfort, and a sustainable alternative to flying ✈️
