🏅 It’s Medal Monday — my Hearts 😍

SOLO 10K — ✅

Race 1 of 3 for the Conquer LA Challenge. Grateful for every mile, every finish, and the strength to keep showing up.

Thank you for Inspiring 🙋🏻‍♀️ me for this one:
👑 @idaliajimenez2 💯

I’m SO proud of my of RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS SELFIE 🥹👐🏽❤️‍🩹

Praying to be — and STAY — STRONG,
just like my 94-year-young MOM.
🥇My Mami. 🐆💅🏽💎

☝🏽 race down, ✌🏽 to go. ❤️🔥

@santamonicaclassic ✨ 1st timer & I’ll be back 😁

I did not have my 🆓 Finisher 🍺 — I had to get back to NELA‼️ I enjoyed it later with Mami & my little Family. 🥰

My Goal is to ♾️ 🏁 • F • I • N • I • S • H • 💪🏽

Thank you to my PeePs @the.5amcrew & @solechas3rs — for being there. It allowed me to get it in & make it back home on time for Mami & work. ✨🥹❣️

It’s been my only training! 🤭

Great seeing you at the 🏁 Finish Line @rizzo.runs 🙌🏽 for that High Five 🖐🏽

Always something, right? 😅

Beginning of races are CraZy‼️ Everybody trying to get to the front, etc. But a wise voice always whispers in my ear, “Remember, Gerri, let all them go — reserve your energy and safety… you’ll pass them 🆙 later!! 😉”

— That’s 👑 @laguzman2005 🫶🏽

Anyway, I stepped on a street floor reflector early on, and now I feel a pinched nerve on the bottom of my left foot. 🙄
That’s RA — the nerves were compressed due to inflammation.

But if RA has taught me anything, it’s this:
I may slow down, but I don’t stop. 🔥

🧘🏻‍♀️🙏🏽✨ healing time ✨🪷🤲🏽
