Some pictures from our concert at ZOG/Emile Vandoren museum in Genk earlier this month.

Really happy to revisit Between Motion and Stillness, a seven-part suite I wrote last year for the sound installation Tussen Hemel en Aarde at campus Porta Vida. Both the music and the texts grew out of the landscape and history of Genk, exploring life, time and change through drums, synths and electronics.

This time, Anaïs Vijgen joined me to add live spoken word and fx vocals. Who knows, maybe there’s something to build on here. :-)

Many thanks to ZOG and Emile Vandoren museum, Ann, Kristof and Maarten for the warm welcome and good care, and to everyone who came out to listen!

September has already been a busy one — and there’s plenty more ahead. On the road for the next six weeks. 🥁

A full run of Coltrane Mutations with @flatearthsocietyorchestra, two new album releases, stops in Sweden, Germany and Portugal, and plenty of concerts closer to home.

A personal highlight: on October 21, exactly one year after our album premiere at De Bijloke, I’ll bring the my Quartet to @bernaerts.platform in Antwerp.

Swipe for all upcoming dates. Hope to see you somewhere along the way! More tour dates in bio.

Hi everyone, hope you’re doing well!

Really looking forward to a new season of jazz concerts at @ccdebogaard.

Very happy to be curating this series together with Jan Straetemans. This Friday we’ll be kicking things off with a unique quartet led by @bart.defoort3, together with Pascal Mohy, @nic_thys_bass and myself.

Hope to see some familiar and new faces at one of the concerts!

Place to be: Academiezaal, Sint-Truiden.

This is nuts. I’m extremely humbled to have my debut album selected by @knackfocus @knack.be as one of the 10 Jazz Albums of 2025.
As a drummer writing this music and hearing it played by some of the finest musicians in the European jazz scene, it’s incredibly rewarding to see how this record is being received — by audiences, fellow musicians, radio stations and press around the globe.
This feels like the start of a long journey with this quartet, and I’m truly grateful for all the support.

Two more shows before closing 2025:
14/12 – @casa_nardo_music
19/12 – @desingerrijkevorsel2310
