Advocate, advocate, advocate.

Advice that feels simple but isn’t always that easy.

Whether you’re experiencing PMDD or navigating something else that doesn’t feel right, consider this your reminder to keep talking about what you’re experiencing - with your doctor, with your trusted loved ones and whoever else you feel safe opening up to.

Women’s health is still far behind where it needs to be. It wasn’t that long ago that women experiencing very real symptoms were dismissed as “hysterical”, and we’re still working to close the gaps that dismissal created.

The more openly we discuss about our symptoms and experiences, the more we can help other recognize what they may be going through, feel comfortable speaking up and know what questions to ask.

Share your story when you feel safe to, ask questions, advocate for yourself with your healthcare providers and never be embarrassed about talking about what you’re experiencing.

Because when more of us speak up, our individual stories become harder to overlook and we deserve to be heard 💛
