I closed a long and extremely painful chapter of my life today. It involved restraining orders, guardianship changes, renewals and ultimately the death of my evil stepmother at the first of this year. I lost my mom Evelyn to multiple sclerosis when I was a teenager. My father passed away six years ago and I was finally able to place his ashes with my mother. Supported by my father's sister and her husband, I also brought my sister (an adult with special needs) to say goodbye to her mother. Life is hard and doesn't ever go the way you think. But today, I finally found some peace for the first time in a very long while. 🙏 by @getatbillypower

I saw Public Image Limited last night at Brooklyn Bowl. I succeeded in my mission to see all the living members of the Sex Pistols in the span of a week. There was a garbage can on stage, full ADA seating, a half-full venue, and Johnny took a smoke break. He also was using a binder and stand for lyrics as you can see. Musically it was like if Phish was trying to be post-punk. Extended jams with Rotten warbling on top - and dancing like a Microsoft exec at a quarterly earnings meeting. 😂🤷 Not good. The Sex Pistols show I saw a week earlier was infinitely better, with a dynamic Frank Carter fronting the band. I left early. by @getatbillypower

Totally awesome @amylandthesniffers show last night at new venue The Truth with my homie @roscoe.ford. Sounded incredible. My 3rd time seeing Amyl, and maybe my favorite. Loved @lakota_v filling in on bass. Openers @edging.band and @hunxandhispunxofficial were also a rad fun time. Also epic was pre-show dinner at @gordos_nashville (see last slides). by @getatbillypower

An absolute banger of a weekend in Columbus that culminated with this totally fantastic Sex Pistols ft. @frankcarter23 (@cartercookjonesmatlock) show celebrating 50 Years of Never Mind The Bollocks which they played top to bottom. What a joy! Absolute kudos to Frank who was a dynamic frontman who brought his own flavor to these iconic songs - as well as getting out into the crowd and firing up everybody. I was also super stoked to catch @badbadnerves who also ripped it up. 10 out of 10 weekend. Did I buy the $80 Pistols hoodie? You bet I did! Zero regrets. by @getatbillypower

As you can see, rumors of @ianhoey's demise are greatly exagerrated. Welcome back, Ian! ✌🏻 by @getatbillypower

Absolutely thrilling and fun @hauteandfreddy and @rubinbrothers show last night at @theblueroomnashville. Their debut album is my most listened-to record of this year and I was so stoked to see them in this intimate venue. The 80's synth vibes have me hooked!✌🏻❤️ by @getatbillypower
