Get Better Fall 2026 Camp Series!
Ages 10U–14U | Coed

High-energy, competitive training designed to help players sharpen their skills, compete, and build confidence on the court.

Players will work on position-specific skills, elite footwork, finishing through contact, catch & shoot, triple-threat attacks, and creating shots off the dribble.

Each camp will feature competitive drills, challenges, and prizes so players can put their skills to the test!

Camp Dates:
September 11 | 5:00–7:00 PM
October 16 | 5:00–7:00 PM
November 20 | 5:00–7:00 PM

Location: Victory Christian
Ages: 10U–14U | Coed

One of San Diego’s purest shooters ever is ready to help develop the next generation.

@citlalligurrola’s basketball journey took her from San Diego to walking on at UNLV, finishing her college career at Whittier, and then coaching at the collegiate level as an assistant at Southwestern.

She’s now bringing that experience back to the Get Better family and our Girls Program.

DJ Carter has been putting in work with Coach JoJo since high school and has been apart of Get Better ever since. The résumé speaks for itself:

- 2019 East County Player of the Year
- Big Sky Conference Freshman of the Year at Montana
- 2024 All-SWAC Tournament Team at Bethune-Cookman

#TBT to our Girls Program Coach Alyssa Alvarado getting buckets! @_alyssaaa.marie_

Alyssa has been training with Get Better Hoops since she was a kid, eventually taking her game to the next level at Dominican University of California. She went on to lead the team in made threes during the 2025–26 season.

Alyssa is back with Get Better as a coach for our girl’s program, preparing the next generation of San Diego girls for their future on and off the court. 💪🏽💗
