🌸Obsessed is an understatement 💅🏼 When I saw this jumpsuit in the new arrivals section on @gormanclothing, I knew it had to be mine! I found and fell in love with this store when we were in Australia visiting friends and James’s family earlier this year. Everything about their styles and vibe speak to me! Bright. Bold. And ridiculously well made! I snagged this piece, and those colourful check pants you may have seen in my stories the other day! Well worth the spend! I’m not going to lie though, I got absolutely hammered on customs and duty. Like $100 on two pieces of clothing. This has absolutely nothing to do with the brand, and entirely everything to do with the state of trade world. But what I would give to have @gormanclothing readily available here in Canada! What a dream that would be! But anyways, let’s get back to this jumpsuit! It is constructed with the sturdiest denim made from 100% organic cotton, features artwork exclusively made for @gormanclothing, has fully functional pockets, and is not only stylish, but comfortable too! ✌🏻My closet is my favourite place to shop💁‍♀️ It brings me so much joy knowing that I have an outfit for every mood. I know that I am incredibly fortunate to have such a collection, and it’s so vast from the 8 years of owning a clothing store 😆 This groovy jumpsuit was the perfect piece for today. It’s light. It’s flowy. And super stretchy! I wish it had pockets though. 🍅I have worn the heck out of these pants this summer. These little cuties were yet another @poshmarkcanada score. I seem to have pretty excellent luck on there, although I have fallen victim to a few duds. But let’s get back to these pants! They have everything! Baguettes! 🥖 Tomatoes! 🍅Lemons! 🍋Cherries! 🍒Fish! 🐟Shells! 🐚They’re the perfect summer pant. Well. Capri. They hit just above the ankle on me. I really love how I can wear these with so many different tops. Like this one I picked up at an Op shop when we were in Sydney back in February. It’s an Anthropologie score that I got for 8 bucks! If you haven’t picked up on this yet, I’m a big fan of the thrift. Sometimes you just find the best stuff! For today’s look I’ve paired my green @katespadeny bag with my me-made lemon feltie bag charm, my burger ring 🍔, and my me-made noodle earrings! 🌈This dress has been on heavy rotation all summer long! It’s SO easy to wear, it’s lightweight, it has pockets, EVERYTHING matches it, and the best of all, IT’S COMFORTABLE!🙌🏻 Sometimes we get stuck between comfort and style, but this little beauty by @sugarhillbrighton checks all the boxes. This is not an ad by the way (but i would also LOVE to collaborate sometime😀) but you should definitely check this brand out! I have a couple pieces from their collection and I am super happy with my purchases ☺️ It’s impossible to be in a bad mood in this outfit. It makes me happy, and basing this study off of the copious amount of compliments i get in it, it makes other people happy too. Thats the thing about dopamine dressing. 💕Hi Barbie!💕 Pink NEVER goes out of style! And I believe pink is also the most powerful colour out there! It’s impossible not to feel good when you’re wearing it, it commands attention, and it looks good on EVERYONE! I’m really leaning hard into this Barbie-forward look. Barbie shorts. Barbie purse. Pink jelly sandals (James calls them my stripper Barbie sandals but I said they were too chunky to be stripper sandals 😆), pink tank, and these cutie pink flower earrings that I MADE!! I had a whole tray of super cute flower earrings that I was hoping to have ready in case I might have had an order for them, but I burnt them 😂. 🍅The age old question of “is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable?” Like. We all know that it’s technically a fruit, but to me, it definitely falls into the veggie category. Okay. But look how cute this little playsuit is!! I bought this back in February when James and I were in Australia for a visit. This was one that was on my wish list from @princesshighwayclothing and I was so excited when I found it!! It fits like an absolute dream! I was low key wanting to get everything in the tomato collection, but cut myself off with just this one piece. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to make tomatoes my entire personality this Summer, but I guess they’re definitely a part of it now permanently thanks to my pal @rustiewilsontattoos 😆 When she posted her summer flash, she had the absolute cutest bundle of cherry tomatoes that I could not pass up. In true Jen fashion, I asked her if she could make one into a butt for me, and she did! So now here we are 💁‍♀️ So not only do I get to accessorize this look with my tomato tattoo, I also chose to wear a cute little scarf, and these adorable little glass tomato earrings that my dear friend Mel gifted to me! She knew that this playsuit was on my radar of things to get when I was in Aus, so it was serendipitous that she found these for me when she was in the UK. It was like this look was meant to be 👯‍♀️ I will very likely craft myself a pair of tomato earrings too!
