Every day you choose between what feels easy now and what builds you later, and most people think discipline means motivation, but it really just means choosing the harder option when the easier one is right there. Comfort feels good in the moment, but it rarely moves you forward, while discipline feels uncomfortable at first but creates the life you actually want, so the question isn’t whether you’ll choose, because you already are — it’s what you’re choosing every day. by @getfitwitheze

The goal was never to live a life without dessert, it was to build a body without fear of it. One slice of cake won’t erase a week of good habits, but believing it will is what makes people give up completely. Fat loss isn’t about never eating sweets, it’s about learning how to enjoy them without losing control. The goal isn’t a perfect diet, it’s a sustainable one, and the people who get lean aren’t the ones who avoid dessert forever, they’re the ones who know how to include it and keep going. by @getfitwitheze

Being ready isn’t a feeling, it’s a choice, because if people waited to feel confident and prepared, nothing would ever start, and the truth is most progress begins when you’re still unsure and a little scared, but you move anyway, so readiness doesn’t come before the work, it comes after the first step, the first rep, the first day you showed up without wanting to, and the moment you stop waiting and choose to begin. #agtg by @getfitwitheze

People don’t quit because it’s hard, they quit because it gets boring, because doing the same routine with no sense of growth makes the mind give up long before the body ever does, and that quiet feeling of “nothing is changing” is what turns missed days into missed months, so progress needs more than discipline, it needs something to chase, a new challenge, a heavier lift, a skill to improve, anything that keeps the spark alive, because failure hurts once, but boredom slowly convinces people to walk away, and that’s why boredom kills more goals than failure ever will.

1. YOU ARE TRYING TO DO TOO MUCH
A lot people find trouble getting constant days in the gym because they try to do things they can’t stay consistent with. Like for example people would lift for 2 hours and for 30 mins of cardio. Yeah you can do that for a few weeks, but you will most likely burnout on that type of work rate. Lower the workouts, up the intensity.

2. “MOTIVATION”
Motivation goes away fast. New years everyone hits the ground running but by March they haven’t been to the gym for 2 weeks. You are not going to “feel” like working out everyday, but the people who reach their goals go no matter how they are feeling.

3. RECOVERY
You never stretch and you are confused why you’re workouts feel so weak. Also, you got 5 hours of sleep the night before. You are only hurting yourself.

4. LIFE
Life happens often, but you need to have tunnel vision towards your goals. Yes this journey you are on is a marathon, but that doesn’t mean you take a water break for a weeks on end. by @getfitwitheze

Don’t panic, because it doesn’t mean the fat loss has stopped. Your body has just adapted to your new diet and lifestyle.

Keep doing the same thing, putting in the work, eating right, and getting enough sleep and your body will readjust.

If nothing changes after a few weeks then it’s time to maybe eat less calories or take a mini break from dieting (no more than 3 days).

Plateau test patience, not progress. This is where most people quit and where results actually come from.
