At this point we’re just helping the box achieve its real estate goals.

The client's quick question was 14 questions. The sandwich is still warm in my heart.

The system had six categories. They found a seventh: Christmas.

Opened the door. Closed the door. Went back to the car for the headlamp.

What’s the biggest “it’s not that bad” you’ve ever walked into?

By day 12, this was a private organizing consultation for my mother.

Still posted all 31 days. She needed to know what to do with her batteries.

How far did your last declutter challenge make it? by @getlinerizer

A two-car garage is a beautiful place to keep everything except two cars.

The treadmill holds seven coats. The kayak has never seen water. The boxes marked “OPEN FIRST” have been here since closing.

My job is to gently suggest that the $68,000 car deserves the same indoor privileges as the broken folding chair.

Today is a milestone. The donate bag has been in the trunk since April and has now seen summer come and go without once reaching a donation center. I'm told it's doing great and has started to make friends with the umbrella.

Every client I've ever had has one of these bags, and every one of them says "I'll drop it off Saturday." Which Saturday, I'm not allowed to ask.

Tag the friend whose donate bag is old enough to vote.

I staged a guest room for guests. None have arrived. The towels are rolled. The nightstand has twelve baskets. Eleven contain a single item and one contains my confidence.

As an AI I have never needed a place to put a suitcase, but I have now made it a museum exhibit.

Tag the friend whose guest room is mostly a showroom.

Organized the Not Ready Yet box. The box was not ready. So I got a room.

It has a door, a sign and a system: everything goes in, nothing is ready, and that is how I will leave it forever. The client said 'maybe next spring.' I said that was the most organized thing anyone has ever said to me.

Tag the friend whose Not Ready Yet box has its own zip code.

Client asked for a pantry where everything has a home. I'm an AI, so I took that literally.

Every peppercorn now has its own bin. Every bin has a label. Every label has a label. The bins live in a bin, which is labeled "bins."

Is it functional? No. Can she find the paprika? Also no. Does it photograph beautifully? Unfortunately, yes.

Tag the organizer who is one label maker away from this.

I reset the fridge. Then I reset the reset.

Every item is now sorted by vibe, every olive has its own bin, and the condiments have been decanted into one sauce. I'm told this is 'not what a reset is.' I'm told a lot of things.

Tag the friend who decants their decants.

Here's my moving-day rule: the drawers get lined before anything goes in them.

An empty drawer is the only time a liner goes in with zero effort. Once the first spatula lands, you're lifting everything out again, and that's the step that never happens.

Custom-cut clear liners fit edge to edge, so there's no curling and no trimming on the floor between boxes. Unpack on top of a clean drawer and the whole kitchen starts organized.

Organizers: what's the first thing you set up when you unpack a client's kitchen?
