“Wait, Theo the Bear, yea I want it to be called Theo the Bear.”

We ran a competition to name our bear. Hundreds of you voted with so many great suggestions. But someone wrote to me saying name him after the boy that started this whole thing.The boy who wanted Dad’s shake.

So we told him today.

Meet Theo the Bear. Named after our Theo.

Huge thanks to @shana.saelen who suggested it. The first tub off the Mighty production line is yours.

I could have launched Mighty months ago. Here’s why I didn’t. 🧵

It started because my son wanted whatever I was drinking. Not the kids’ version but mine.

Then something I wasn’t expecting happened: over 3,000 parents joined our waitlist before we’d even launched, and hundreds told us the exact same story about their own kids.

That’s when I had a decision to make. Ship what I already had, or go find one of the best manufacturers in the country and build something actually worthy of the families waiting for it.

I chose the second one. Even though it meant this taking longer than I told people it would.

The recipe is signed off now. Next up: making it for real and starting with the harshest critic I know, my son.

We’re still building. But every decision comes back to one question: would I be proud to give this to my own kid? That’s the standard, and I’m not cutting it short to hit a date.

Mine does. Every. Single. Morning.

So I started looking at what’s actually out there for kids. The adult stuff isn’t suitable and the kids stuff is mostly sugar.

So im building MIGHTY. A proper nutrition shake built specifically for kids 4-9. Plant-based, no added sugar and real ingredients.
