Thought I'd try out the IGL Tar and Bug Remover sample I received several months ago on this #hyundaii30n . It leaves behind a wonderfully smooth panel texture ready for final prep to accept any kind of sealant you choose afterwards. And it doesn't smell harsh like most solvent based tar and bug removers.

The owner booked in again because they had been driving through an unusual amount of roadworks and had tar deposits on every panel again after we had removed it all before Christmas originally.

So here's what I've been working on the past few days. We were given the opportunity to bring this elegant and powerful 4.0 twin turbo V8 #bentleycontinental in this beautiful blue convertible configuration.

The owner is a true enthusiast and we were honoured to have been trusted to do our best to enhance this car to a standard befitting of this class of vehicle. Watch previous videos to see the state it was in.

The coatings we applied were IGL KENZO to the paint and stainless trimmings & IGL WINDOW to all external glass. Plus as a bonus I airbrushed IGL ELIXIR on all of the front grills. Now it's ready to enjoy and easy to maintain for years to come..

We also gave the interior a gentle cleaning and applied IGL LEATHER conditioner to bring back a rich, lustrous finish. Also a coat of IGL ecowax to the woodgrain finishes to add that deep wet finish that wood deserves.

George wants to tell you all that we are now booked out until we return October 14th. The Get Protected family are having our first family holiday in 3 years. It's been a hard slog starting the new business from almost scratch. We thank all of our customers new and old.

We're going to visit Bianca's parents in the glasshouse mountains region and then dig for some thunder eggs in Mount Tambourine and visit her sisters family on the Goldy.

We will not be answering any phone calls between October 8th and October 13th. If you would like to make a booking or enquiry for our return then please do so via messages or emails. Where we will respond by the following day. If Joseph feels like it.

So here's the result I got from my testing. Each section takes me under 10 minutes to do the 2 stages of polishing. So the whole car should be done in under 7 hours. Then I can do my final prep and lay down the ultra slick IGL KENZO. taken in Get Protected MNC by @getprotectedmnc

Here's the walk around video from the TD42 GU NISSAN PATROL pre-sale detail in all it's glory. It received a these includions:
+ full body acid wash Decon
+ Engine bay degrease and dress
+.Single stage polishing
+ Interior rejuvenation
+ Underbody degrease and painting incl wheel faces

Fun fact I started my career as a Toyota tech apprentice way back in 2008. And I found the rivalry between the GU Patrol and 70 series single cab utes rather comical. Now that I'm nearly 40 years old. I think I'd go the TD42 Patrol. Yes I'm getting old.

There isn't too much more Australian than an old #nissanpatrol especially with the TD42. When I did wholesale detailing nearly a decade ago these rigs sold before they ever hit the yard.

This one has seen lots of adventures, love and care from its owners. And now it's time for someone else to make some new memories with this trusty old girl.

It's EZ to GET PROTECTED by us. IGL EZ is a 1 year consumer grade multi surface Graphene infused coating. It's suitable to be used on paint, wheels plastic and headlights. Meaning you can get every exterior surface coated to make maintenance EZ-er.
We have several cars out there that came in with our IGL experience in October 2024 that are still seeing the benefits today. Proving that just because it says one year does not mean that's all you're gunna get.
