✨ Closing Day! 🏡

Today marks the close of a special chapter. I’m incredibly grateful that my sellers trusted me with my very first listing representing the seller; especially from over 100 miles away in Captain Cook while I’m based in Hilo.

Season 39. Episode 1 🎉
Woke up on my 39th birthday feeling a little under the weather, but the love that poured in today completely turned everything around💛
From colleagues decorating my classroom and surprising me with gifts, to family and friends showing me so much care… my heart is beyond full.
So grateful to be blessed with another year and excited to round out my last year in my thirties with joy, purpose, and the people who mean the absolute world to me✨

✨ Happy Anniversary to our Ho‘ākeolapono Trades Academy & Institute! ✨
…a few days late, but we celebrate all month. 😉

I want to honor Lawaia Naihe… founder, program director, instructor, and the visionary behind this incredible program. He and I met many moons ago as students ourselves, so it only feels right that our friendship has evolved into a shared commitment to lifelong learning and empowering our youth.

When he first asked me to join his board, I never imagined he trusted me enough to one day serve as President… and it has truly been one of my greatest honors.

After building strong, successful cohorts on Kaua‘i, Lawaia expanded the vision, and this summer we launched our very first cohort in Hilo; a huge milestone for our academy and our community.

So proud of how far we’ve come, and so energized for what’s ahead 🌺🔧
