The goal? Your last first salaam. 🤍 We’re building Sakinah for Muslims serious about nikah. Get to know someone’s values and voice. Keep photos private until the interest is mutual. After a match, she starts the conversation. Human-reviewed profiles. Deen-led introductions. Wali involvement encouraged. New Jersey, we’re starting with you. Join the free waitlist → link in bio. Send this to the friend who’s ready for something intentional. #Sakinah #MuslimMarriage #Nikah #NewJerseyMuslims #HalalMarriage by @getsakinah.app
A marriage app for practicing Muslims, starting with students and alumni across New Jersey. Assalamu alaikum. We've been building something quietly for a few months. It's ready. It's called Sakinah, سكينة. Tranquility. Same root as sakan, a home. The idea is simple: you're read before you're seen. Photos stay veiled until you both choose each other. She sends the first message. Your wali is welcome on your profile from the start. And before anyone gets in, there's a live selfie check and a human profile review. Right now, that human is me. Today we're opening the waitlist. The first goal is 50 brothers and 50 sisters. Not 50 people. 50 and 50, so that when the doors open there's an actual community behind them and nobody walks into an empty room. Sisters, if this sounds like something you'd want, please join. You're who it was built around, and you'll shape what it becomes. Brothers, the most useful thing isn't signing up. It's sending this to your sister, your cousin, the sisters in your MSA. It only works if it opens balanced. joinsakinah.com. Tell us your school and the city you're in now. Honest feedback welcome. Especially the critical kind. #muslimmarriage #njmuslims #halaldating #njit #nikah by @getsakinah.app
