We asked night workers what wakes them up after a shift and the doorbell won by a mile. So here’s what people in our comments actually do about it. One nurse switches her doorbell off, puts her phone on silent and sleeps in Loop earplugs, and swears nobody’s getting through.

What works for you? We’ll put the best ones in the next post.
