Almost 18 miles. 14.5 hours. Nearly 5,000 feet of elevation.
The view from the top was beautiful, but somehow the love and community we experienced along the way was even better.
I’m incredibly grateful to have been invited into this experience and trusted to capture such a special moment. There’s something different about creating alongside people while also going through the journey with them.
Definitely one for the books.
Still not sure what was harder — running a marathon or this 😂 — but either way, both are officially under the belt.
Thank you to everyone who came out, encouraged each other, laughed, struggled, pushed through, and made this experience what it was. I walked away with more than footage and memories — I walked away with new friendships and an even deeper appreciation for community.
Grateful for the top.
Even more grateful for the journey.
Until the next adventure. 🤞🏾

getting the apartment right, one plant at a time 🌱

After a long day of work, I stopped by @putaplant.onit on Elmwood because one thing I’ve been working on lately is the feng shui of my apartment. I want my space to feel a little more alive, intentional, and like somewhere I actually want to slow down when I get home.

Left with two new homies:

🌿 Marble Queen Pothos
Water: Let the soil fully dry and wait until the leaves start to wilt — usually about every 2–3 weeks.
Light: Bright indirect or indirect light.
Notes: Likes a tight pot.
Soil: Chunky tropical.
Pets: Mildly toxic to animals.

🌱 Fittonia
Water: Water when the soil is about halfway dry — usually every 5–7 days.
Light: Bright indirect or indirect light.
Notes: She’ll get very dramatic and wilt when she’s thirsty 😂 but doesn’t like staying wilted for long.
Soil: Tropical.
Pets: Non-toxic to animals.

One thing I really liked about Put a Plant On It is that every plant comes with its own care card breaking all of this down. So even if you’re still figuring out this whole plant-parent thing like me, you’re not just walking out with a plant and hoping for the best 😂.

Now I just have to figure out where they’re going in the apartment.
