What a week! We don’t know the number on the 2024 Mickey super but we can confirm it’s sold!!! Congrats to the buyer and seller!

Also, people ask me about Lorcana all the time, and I think this can help answer that :)

Guesses on what the 2024 Mickey 1/1 sold for?!

What a week! Lots of great sales - I’m sure I missed a few private but I like having transparent sales on these.

Heard a few people complaining and decided to include all marvel this week! Some massive sales in Topps and otherwise.

All data from @cardladder so if I’m missing something feel free to let me know. Also included some sales from Sept 26 as sometimes it takes auctions a few days to load in CL. by @getting_nerdy_in_here

I solemnly swear I am not opening this.

Sealed since 2001. On my shelf since Thursday.

The Harry Potter Trading Card Game came from Wizards of the Coast; the same company behind Magic: The Gathering and the original English Pokémon cards.

For the art, they called in some of their Magic regulars:

Pete Venters - Painting Magic since 1993, Pete has 300+ cards under his name, including Survival of the Fittest and Baron Sengir. In this set, he painted Draco.

Scott M. Fischer - a Magic artist since the ‘90s, and the one Wizards chose in 2023 to repaint Black Lotus. Yes, that Black Lotus.

Daren Bader has 200+ card illustrations, plus a career art directing games at Disney, Nintendo, Capcom and Rockstar, where he worked on Red Dead Redemption.

The game briefly ranked as the second best-selling toy in the US. By 2003, Wizards had retired it. Five sets total, and this is the first — home to two of the game’s biggest chases: the Harry Potter holo portrait, and Unicorn which gave a player an extra action every single turn.

The Base Set’s 116 cards were painted before the first movie hit theaters giving it a truly magical look based on only the books.

36 packs. Staying sealed.

Mischief managed ✨

Another week of Marvsel sales! Seems the market is finally stabilizing a bit (a good thing!) - is it getting ready to explode again this December when Doomsday releases??

One thing about the Bob is yesterdays price is not today’s price! The rise of Bob is real and continues on this week!

Have you picked up any for your collection?
