We’re not a big chain. We’re a small business, a food truck built in residential communities.

Prepping for a private event tomorrow has me missing nights like these.

Old clips of me and the homies blasting music, making great food, serving the community and seeing familiar faces. There’s nothing like the energy of those nights!

Grateful for the clients who have continued calling us back and for friends like @juiceforus and @kristenskitchen_24 who keep helping me stay connected to the work.

Whether you came to see us once or have been with us since day one, thank you. Every order, every recommendation, every post you shared, and every conversation at the truck meant more than you’ll ever know.

Unfortunately, we’ve hit a major setback. Our truck suffered a mechanical failure, we’ve decided to pause operations while we figure out our next chapter.

This isn’t the ending we envisioned, but it’s also not the end of Urban Eats.

I want to give a huge thank you to my incredible team. 88 Through long days, late nights, equipment failures, slow shifts, sold out services, and everything in between, you’ve always shown up with heart. Building a business is weird.

You’re expected to believe in something before anyone else does.

You invest your time, your money, your weekends, and sometimes your sanity into an idea that has no guarantees.
