WE ARE AUDITIONING!

AUDITION CALL – MARY STUART

True Life Productions, in collaboration with 49Knights, are seeking 2 male actors and 1 female actress for a new adaptation of John Drinkwater’s Mary Stuart, adapted and directed by Rosina Piovani and produced by Dan Lentell.

The production explores the life of Mary Stuart through her relationships, passions, and struggles for survival — revealing a woman of intelligence, emotional depth, and resilience against the backdrop of 16th-century politics. Presented in the style of a 1930s radio broadcast, this is an intimate and poetic theatrical experience.

A 60-minute live radio drama performed in front of an audience at Peterborough Cathedral on 2nd & 3rd October, this reimagining explores love, power, destiny, and the extraordinary life of Mary Stuart. The performance will form part of the Mary Stuart Exhibition at the Cathedral.

Auditions: Self-tape first, followed by a face-to-face read.
