What is your life truly built on?

In Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus teaches us that a house built on rock stands firm through every storm while a house built on sand collapses. The foundation He’s talking about isn’t a philosophy, a religion, or good works. It’s Him.

1 Corinthians 3:11 reminds us: “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

So here’s the hard question, Is Jesus the actual foundation of your life, or just an addition to it?

Let this truth sink in today. Build your life on the Rock that never shifts. 🪨

❤️ THE TIES THAT BIND
What happened in Jos South wasn't just an outreach. It was a fusion of hearts. Through prayer, they invited God’s presence. Through altar calls, they claimed His promise. Through games, they built trust. Through friendship, they became family.

These children who have seen hardship, who study God’s Word even when schools are closed, taught us all a lesson: Love isn’t just something you feel. It’s something you do. And in doing it, miracles happen.

✨ DAY 2: Bukuru—WHERE FRIENDSHIP WAS FORGED IN FUN

Saturday at the Child Evangelism and Discipleship Orphanage in Bukuru began with heartfelt introductions.

This time, the children paired up to share not just names but were shared in teams to bond: "What makes you happy?" "What’s your favourite game?" The room buzzed with connection, even without the teachers.
Friendship was blooming in real time.

🎉 Fun-Fare & The Dance of Unity
Then came the games and organized chaos of joy! There was a "balloon keep-up" challenge that had everyone running and laughing.

A spoon and egg race formed, where Champions and Bukuru children showed off their best moves, with speed and stamina.

No one was watching from the sidelines; everyone was in. In the celebrations, in the games, in the shared snacks, they weren't two groups anymore. They were one big, loud, happy family.

🙏 Prayers of Promise & SWarmth
Before leaving, we joined hands Champions and Bukuru children side by side and prayed over each other.
They prayed for futures, for strength, for dreams.

Then the gifts: Gifts given with whispered blessings, one thing that was communicated in love by the Champions Club was to let the children of Child Evangelism and discipleship Orphanage know that, "They are known. They are loved. by @gfa_cis

🔥 The Altar Call: A Moment of Holy Yes

As the afternoon sun softened, an invitation was gently extended.

Not to a religion, but to a relationship.

Many children from both the orphanage and the Champions Club came forward, some with tears, some with quiet determination, to say "yes" to Jesus.

It was a sacred convergence hearts choosing hope, together. Right there in Dadin Kowa, heaven felt close, and love found a home. by @gfa_cis

✨ DAY 1: Dadin Kowa—WHERE PRAYERS BECAME PILLARS

As we entered CLAPAI Orphanage in Dadin Kowa on Friday, 19th December, there was a gentle, holy hush—the kind that comes before a blessing.
Before games or gifts, we gathered in a circle.

The Champions Club children, who have learned to pray through their own storms, led the way. Little voices rose, earnest and strong, speaking peace, protection, and joy over their new friends. "Lord, let them feel Your love today… let them know they are not forgotten." In that moment, prayer wasn't a ritual, it was the foundation. It was the first thread stitching two communities together.

Then came the introductions. Not stiff or formal, but joyful. "My name is Amarachi,!"I'm Hauwa!" Laughter sprinkled the air as they shared dreams,.

The "Champions" weren't just visitors; they were siblings in spirit, saying, "We see you. We are here."

🎮 Games & Glimpses of Pure Joy
The yard erupted with energy. Cup races turned into cheer-filled competitions where everyone won because everyone played.

The Champions and the orphanage children paired up, in teams(Red, yellow, green, and blue), balanced balls, and in every stumble, there was a hand to help them up. You could see walls crumbling—replaced by high-fives and shared giggles.

This was friendship, built not over years, but in moments of pure, unscripted play. by @gfa_cis

This Friday and Saturday, we are taking the celebration to children in Jos South, Plateau State! We have two days packed with fun, faith, and festive activities planned.

🎯 OUR MISSION: To share the joy of Christmas through fellowship, play, and the message of hope.

WHEN CHILDREN WORSHIP,heaven listens. 🌟

This past Sunday was a divine moment we will never forget! Our “Out of the Mouth of Babes” service was filled with pure, unfiltered praise, powerful declarations, and so much joy.

From the heartfelt songs to the sincere prayers, our Fortress children showed us what true worship looks like. It was more than a program; it was a movement of tiny hearts making a massive sound in God’s kingdom.

To every parent, guardian, volunteer, and leader, together, we are raising a generation that knows His voice.
