What an absolutely great evening of music with the @harrisburgsymphony pops and the lady’s of jazz. Beautiful sounds from everyone, especially this killin’ trumpet section! @harmonypestmanagement @joshtpt #kennyrittenhouse brought some serious tones to this brass section. #ellafitzgerald #judygarland #jazztrumpet #classicaltrumpet #nyctrumpet #craigtaylor #joshkauffman @yamahamusicusa @bachbrass @jlandressbrass @gard.bags @patrickmouthpieces @gregblackmpcs #hashtag by @gfaccone

Last night in Long Branch, NJ with @briankirkandthejirks to close our the summer concert series! Big shout out to @tomobmusic for putting up with our antics, you da best! This was a special show for us as it’s always great to play for the hometown crowd, but especially when the whole fam damily shows up! Love y’all! 🤌🏼🇮🇹🎺 by @gfaccone

It’s always an honor and privilege to sub on lead 🎺 at @chicagomusical on Broadway in NYC. Even more so today, the day after John Frosk’s passing. John was a famed and revered trumpet player in NYC that set the standard for all of us to follow. Playing in countless bands, shows, and sessions with an impressive career spanning the 50’s - 2000’s. He was a force to be reckoned with. My former teacher @hawktrumpet always imparted on us how tremendous his sound was and suggested we emulate it as often as possible. It was his calling card. Paying homage to him (and following the guidance of Glenn Drewes and Earl Gardner) this evening, we tried to bring the tone and razzle dazzle to the cell block tango on 49th Street. #trumpet #jazz #nyctrumpet #broadwaymusicians #chicagobroadway by @gfaccone

Thank you so much @katiewest_music for having me out this past week to work with your wonderful students at Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, NY! I truly had a great time being able to give a few individual trumpet lessons, run trumpet sectionals, and help out with the full jazz band rehearsal that evening. Your students are listening and playing with heart. You are doing a great service to the Ellington song book! I can’t wait to hear how much progress they make as y’all get ready for #essentallyellington! Big shout out to @jtolemusic for helping bring us together! by @gfaccone

Always a blast to play lead trumpet and move some wind with @gsjonj 🤌🏼🇮🇹🎺🔥Here’s the end of Frank Foster’s classic “In a Mellow Tone” written for the @countbasieofficial orchestra as recorded on #breakfastdanceandbarbecue by @gfaccone

A wonderful week with #piratesthepenzancemusical at @basiecenter under the direction of @tomobmusic! We had too much fun and got to make quite a racket under the Basie stage! Thank you Tom for assembling a terrific brass section, can’t wait until the next one! @phoenixredbank by @gfaccone

Needed to do a proper post featuring our dearest friends @kcmn87 and @yenii_or on their newest restaurant @lionfishvi. Laura and I got a chance to get away last month and catch up with our dearest friends in the USVI. If you ever find yourself on the beautiful island of St. Thomas, you need to do yourself a favor and set aside an evening for some truly incredible cuisine. Bravo Kenny and Yenni, thank you for letting us dine with you. We love you both! by @gfaccone

18 years together, 10 years married, how did I get so lucky!? Happy Anniversary @lauralsalvatore! You are my best friend and greatest mom in the whole world. You make our world a better place! Lily, Zoey, and I love you so much! Let’s keep dancing through this life together! by @gfaccone

Going through a few old files recently, I stumbled across this recording of the overture to Irving Berlin’s @whitechristmasmusical at @papermillplayhouse under the phenomenal direction of @cynthiameng. It was an absolute joy to play lead trumpet on this show 8x a week! @m2musicnyc assembled a really great band of not only excellent musicians but even better people. I hope everyone in that band is still laughing and swingin’! @broadwaymusicians by @gfaccone

A whole lot of hardware making this show cook! @martybound @gfaccone @playsintheparkedisonnj by @gfaccone

Working on a few things the great Bobby Shew gave me. Slowly, things are starting to make a bit more sense! And thanks @couchdoublec for helping me get this Calicchio 1s2, really enjoying it! @gregblackmpcs by @gfaccone

Wonderful recording session today at @soundonsoundstudios! Shout out to @mattypeks for asking @karllyden and me to play the music of @sweetlionmusicgroup. Fun fact, the last gig the three of us played together was with @smanifesto and @acousticbandits at @radiocitymusichall a few years back! Always great to play with these guys!#dadbodsquad #dadbodhorns #hornsection #dadjokes #trumpet 🎺🎉🔥🇮🇹🕺🏼 by @gfaccone
