Beep beep! Special visitors on board! 🚑✨

We had a wonderful time at Chesterbrook Academy's Touch-a-Truck event this week! Students had the opportunity to explore our ambulance, learn about EMS, and get an up-close look at some of the equipment we use to care for our community every day.

The 2026-2027 Paramedic class is hard at work, and they have the scars to prove it!

This past weekend was the infamous “IV lab”. The IV lab days are the first introduction to IV access and medication administration for our students. These skills are fundamental to get them started on their external field experience and hospital rotations, which start this week. by @gfacems

📞 Connecting the call to the care!

Earlier this week, we provided the Chester County Department of Emergency Services’ newest 911 call takers with an overview of the Chester County EMS system and a tour of some of our vehicles and equipment.

These visits help connect what happens on the phone with the resources responding in the field. We appreciate the opportunity to support their training and welcome them to the public safety team! 🚑 by @gfacems

Did you know, Good Fellowship provides multiple levels of prehospital care?

Aside from Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s) and Paramedics, we also have a dedicated group of Advanced EMT’s (AEMT) as part of our team.

Advanced EMT’s are an intermediate level of care that falls between EMT’s and Paramedics. For some of our more senior viewers, this title was formerly known as “EMT-I”. These providers are able to care for patients who require certain advanced interventions such as IV access, fluid resuscitation, cardiac monitoring/EKG transmission, and Supraglottic airway’s. Additionally, they have a limited allotment of medications for things like pain/nausea relief, epinephrine, IV dextrose and more.

AEMT’s have grown to play an integral role in our organizations success, and offer a tremendous resource to our community.
