So the Explorer has been pinging under load. It’s done A LOT of short trips (heat cycles) for a lot of years and is way overdue for an induction service, injector cleaning, etc. I was running some chemical through the intake and was going to tale this cool video for le gram, then the throttle stuck 🤣 by @gfb_steve

It’s approaching a year since I pulled the engine. Getting down to the nitty gritty before it goes back in. I suppose I avoided the cleaning long enough.. time to get after it and get this car back on the road so I can go cruise with my family and friends! @fitech_efi @powerchilaquilestour @stevebechard919 by @gfb_steve

First time taking Mama tent camping in about 20 years… gear and company was on point, got to know a really cool area close to home, did some double deliberation of future planning / solving all our problems over a few drinks and next to an open flame… made sense both times, so the math must be right! 😂
Oh, and Mama and I finished it off with lunch and beers at the lake ‘cause, why not!? by @gfb_steve

Had a fantastic time camping with Steve, California Overlanders and Ben @overlandtrailguides
It was super fun and such a beautiful area to camp. The TDubs were perfect there.
