toronto is such a large and gluten free friendly city! i mostly stayed within a pretty small section of the city and still ate at almost exclusively 100% dedicated #glutenfree restaurants. all the food was amazing. i hope i get to make it back again some day to try all the rest and repeat some of these…
🌭 @rogers_stadium - maybe this is the norm now at most major sports stadiums? idk i don’t go to a ton of games so the gf hot dogs and other option were a real treat!
🥐 @lartisan_gluten_free_ - holy moly. what a selection. all bangers. would repeat.
🥤 @hankschill these diet coke slushies were delightful! DC in slushie form is truly elevated.
🍚 @phoconceptgf - been wanting to make it to @rizglutenfree for years but this place was closer. similar menu, all gf. so dang good. one of two top meals of the trip. need to go back for the entire menu.
🥟 @colombianstreetfoodtoronto - 100% gf and everything looked so wonderful! wish there was more seating. had to grab a tasty lil baby snack and go.
🌮 @elpochobar and @el.chino.bar - dedicated gf sister restaurants with different menus but some overlap. we LOVED the drinks at el chino but preferred the food at el pocho.
🦋 @almondbutterflybistro and its sister cafe @almondbutterflycafe were really a highlight. from the drinks to the food to the treats, pretty much everything we tried was great. top tier gf bread/sandwiches!

ahhh the pork chop lunch special on fridays at @perrys_steakhouse is so good! i was actually very surprised they offered #glutenfree bread and they assured me it and everything else was #celiacsafe . i’m not even a big pork chop girlie, but this was really fun. drinks and sides were also amazing. 🥩🍸✨ #glutenfreeaustin #gftx #gfatx taken in Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - Austin DT by @gfbfftx

what i ate in las vegas over one weekend (with celiac disease!) :
✨ @monamigabilasvegas (at paris) - this place is just dreamy. anytime im in vegas i eat there at least once or twice - breakfast, lunch, or dinner are all a good bet. they have #gf french onion soup! tiny waffles! fish and chips! and if you sit outside on their patio you can watch the bellagio fountain while you eat. 🍔🥂
✨ @yardbirdrestaurants (at the venetian) - AMAZING GF fried and waffles! not to mention the deviled eggs and insanely good key lime pie for dessert. this place is a chain, and i would absolutely visit in any city. 🤩🍗
✨ @eatalylasvegas (at the park mgm) - can’t beat these aperol spritzes! and the little dessert and coffee stand features several gluten free items that rotate. the gf tiramisu was phenomenal.
✨ @lemongrasslv (at the aria) - this is some of the best thai food i have ever had. the tom kha soup is literally perfect. their panang curry has a little garnish of lychees! it’s really top tier. gf items are not listed on the menu, but the staff is knowledgeable.
✨ @pinkysbyvanderpump (at the flamingo) - not a ton of gf options but the cocktails are great. we did enjoy this gf flight of deviled eggs though.
✨ @powersoulcafe (off strip, delivered via uber eats) - i had been dying to try this place so finally i ordered one day and had it delivered to my hotel. the gf crust contains gluten removed wheat, which could be a problem for some, but it was actually pretty good. the size was just shockingly small. 😅 in fact, all their food items were teeny weeny. but definitely great for late night celiac safe snacking. 🍕

✨✨GLUTEN FREE CRABCAKES IN ATX🦀🦀

okay i was on a mission here. searched high and low for every #glutenfree and hopefully #celiacsafe crabcake in the area. did i miss any? which one is your favorite??

🦀🍰✨ @grovewinebar - not too much breading and nice large chunks of crab. good flavor and texture, and comes with a tiny little side salad.
🦀🍰✨ @maryesgourmetpizza - delightful crabcake experience. also really nice chunks of crab meat, good flavor and texture, and a legit lil side salad. (also i love their gf pizza!)
🦀🍰✨ @fredas_seafood - this crabcake was a very pleasant surprise. the atmosphere here is kind of old school, so i wasn’t sure what to expect. legit #gf menu and the crabcake also had good fat chunks of crab meat and a tasty sauce, but no side salad.
🦀🍰✨ @BOAsteakaustin - a little bit of an outlier here, as this is the only chilled crabcake featured here. BOA actually has some really amazing gf options and this crabcake is one of them. great accoutrement + fresh fat chunks of crab meat.
🦀🍰✨ @mudbugs_budatx - actually shockingly gluten free friendly. they have a whole dedicated gf fryer and a majority of the menu can be done gluten free. these were good crabcakes, great flavor, but more on the shredded crab and heavier on the breading for flavor.
🦀🍰✨ @sweetwateroysterbar - a place we will need to revisit. this one was good but didn’t stand out as the best. definitely shredded and breaded crab, but it did have a nice lil baby salad with it. they don’t label anything online or on their actual menu as gluten free, but our server explained thoroughly everything they can do gf. i would return for the warm buttery crab fingers, and would also try next time the gf fried fish (but chips aren’t gf!) and cajun seafood pasta…
🦀🍰✨ @pheobesdiner - classic austin brunch staple. crabcakes are little fishy and extra fried and breaded. the smallest and crunchiest of all featured crabcakes. highly recommend getting that side of jalapeño remoulade. #glutenfreeaustin #gfatx #gftx #glutenfreecrabcakes taken in Austin, Texas by @gfbfftx
