Solitary oaks will define our new course at Val de Rois. The site is rich in natural oak woodland, and we're framing tees, greens and fairways with standalone specimens — including one magnificent oak right in the middle of the driving range.

Many courses have beautiful trees; most are hidden among lesser ones. Great courses manage their trees: remove what doesn't belong, unwrap the hidden gems, and balance woodland with long open views.

Flyover of the new finishing Hole at Club de Golf Val de Rois near Santiago de Compostela! A beautiful site — mature oaks and long mountain views. First phase of construction of the new 18 hole golf course is going well, currently shaping Holes 10, 17 & 18 and the new driving range and practice facilities. Members keep playing the existing 9 holes throughout this first construction phase.
