Nothing I can say, no words could put in perspective what this brother meant to me. 45 years of friendship, lived in multiple states together saw all the high highs and low lows. Physically strongest and person I ever knew. Nobody had more shit on me than this guy. He officiated my fucking wedding. Great uncle to my kids, incredible father to his girls. I love you brother, you are are going home. Find my son, hug him the way you did here on earth. I will keep watch on your family as you did mine. We will meet again @gregstraight 💜 taken in Colorado Springs, Colorado by @ggerchow

5 years since you passed, I spent the whole night looking at pictures, something I rarely give myself space to do. I miss and love you so much, thank you for the 17 years we had together. Xavier (X) 5.15.03 - 3.12.21 💜 #imissmyson #ilovemydaughter #family taken in Frisco, Colorado by @ggerchow

For the last 5 years I have been in the habit of punishing myself for having fun. It’s a terrible talk track between my ears. Never really doing much for myself outside of day to day care and retreating from society as much as possible. This year, I allowed myself to take a very special trip with my good friend @sahirazam who pushed me into this incredible journey half way across the globe. It was magic 💜#japan #snow #snowboard #meat #winterwonderland taken in Niseko, Hokkaido, Japan（ニセコ） by @ggerchow

I have struggled on this 4th year anniversary of X’s passing to find a new picture or way to pay tribute to him some how. Here is what I see everyday, X in a box at 17. All 6ft 180lbs in an urn. It’s mind boggling to think he has been gone for 1/4 of the time he was here. You are missed and loved son, nothing will ever be the same. I hope we are helping people in your honor. 💜 #fentanylpoisoning #imissyou #imissmyson taken in Frisco, Colorado by @ggerchow
