✨Thank you for sharing this amazing feedback! Kids loving the book and enjoying learning is exactly why I created 📕Let’s Learn Numbers and Counting with Tractors, Diggers and Trucks! Because learning should feel like fun! 🚒🚘🚚🚑

Also, we know from early years psychology that learning is optimised when we use what the child already loves! So if your child loves tractors, diggers and trucks (like my little one) then you might want to check out my book. 📕Book link in bio.

Why so many authors don’t make sales. And what I did to hit #1 Bestseller 📕 on Amazon within 3 days during launch week.

It’s not magic, it’s a mindset shift.

🚒It’s a counting book for truck obsessed kids (and their mamas that want something more educational).

It was inspired by my truck obsessed toddler.

It’s a psychology informed and endorsed book that makes learning feel like play - think vehicle sounds, talking trucks, bright colours and fun challenges and so many trucks!

It aims to get toddlers off screens and get them to sit through an entire book.

I am passionate about getting kids to fall in love with learning by using what they already love to boost engagement and supercharge their brain.

Dressed up as a Glam B#tch….wait, wait. No! I meant witch 🧙!

But seriously! This year was extra special, we dressed up because the toddler wanted to be a pirate, and he dressed the baby as a spooky pumpkin!!! Heart is so full!

Love a mama of two!

🌟Best hack for toddler mums to get your child to sit through an entire book (and fall in love books!).

Never force it.

📕Let them choose the books, follow their lead and interest to boost engagement and learning.

Their interest is the doorway to engagement and can superpower learning.

So if they love avengers and monster trucks 🚙 - awesome get those books, get every book you can find and read, read, read.

Build up a positive and joyous association with books, which improves vocabulary and literacy.

Keep books around in every room like the other toys (not just bedtime reading, but anytime reading).

Share this with another mama! Let’s build a love of books, and a lifelong love of learning.

Ps thanks @naked_sundays for the glow!

👦🏼Mum life! I have been craving live 🎶music so much lately then today this happened. Made my day. My favourite things BOYS (my boys), BRUNCH (runny avo eggs), BEATS (live and soulful).

Thank you @harvest_foodhouse and @bella_jonmusic

I love being a mama but today it was nice to be the old me…even if just for a fleeting moment!

🌟Ps: the toddler had a meltdown after swimming and went ‘for a drive’ with daddy (aka needed a sleep asap).

🌟Pps: eyes look a little less puffy today. Actually got some sleep last night and am trying a new eye cream.

🌟Ppps: hair is in mum mode (aka not bothered to deal with it today).

Baby OOTD: @snugglehunnykids one of my fave baby brands!

A little backyard reading with my vehicle-loving boy 🚜📚 We brought out his truck and blocks, counted together, and let him lead the way.

He was so busy pointing out his favorite vehicles and playing that counting just became part of the fun 🥹 I love that we can name the vehicles now and keep finding more to learn as he grows.

Thank you @ghinamak🤍

📚Aspiring authors, this is for you. I had so much self doubt and was consumed by imposter syndrome before, during and after publishing (until now even). The one thing that got me from feeling ‘not good enough’ to ‘this moment’ was turning up anyway. Feeling the fear and deciding that I wanted this anyway. Accepting that failure was an option and still moving forward anyway (I gave myself permission to fail by calling this book my burnt pancake - it worked so well).

I realised that the imposter syndrome was just fear of failure, a fear of not being good enough. Naming the fear took away part of its power. Giving myself permission to fail (as a recovering perfectionist that was harrrd) gave me space and grace to fail forward.

I felt the fear and decided not to run. That there was no real danger, just a challenge — to grow beyond my comfort zone, or stay safe and stuck within it.

It wasn’t easy, but I am so glad I did. So proud of myself for not giving up. For getting it done. For getting it out.

For being a published author with a book at the library!!! 🙌🙌

To the me from one year ago, doubting if she was good enough - girrrrl you are! You did it! You rock! You got this! 🌟

😔And if you’re doubting yourself today, turn up anyway

Children learn best when they care about what they’re looking at.

It’s not just cute - it’s science.

When you use something your child already loves (vehicles, animals, colours, ANY obsession), their brain becomes:

✨ more focused

✨ more motivated

✨ more likely to remember

✨ more willing to persist when things get tricky

These small sparks of interest create strong neural pathways that support early numeracy, problem-solving and attention.

So if your little one loves tractors, cars or trucks…

Use it!

That’s why I created a counting book that turns a child’s love of tractors, diggers and trucks into a powerful learning tool.

Endorsed by a PhD in Psychology, the book uses early learning psychology and scaffolded learning to engage, inspire and supercharge learning!

The book has ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and is loved by parents, caregivers and educators.

Midwest Book Review called it “Original, clever, fun, an especially and unreservedly recommended pick for family, daycare center, preschool, Kindergarten, and community library counting books for children ages 6 months to 5 years.”

🌟Omg! Another amazing press write up this time in the 🗽NY Review. My little book 📕 has travelled so far.

A year ago I was working on it while my son slept on my chest or while waiting for a doctor who was running late. And now it sells around the globe, and is getting media coverage across the world.

It took me longer to finish because I was working on it during small pockets of time. But small or large steps all lead in the same direction. They all make traction.

So if you have a project in your heart but don’t feel like you have the time. Just start. Even 10 minutes a day is going to add up and move you toward your goals.

You’ll never have time if you don’t make time.

🚒📚Baby mums, it is never too early to start reading to your child. And this book makes learning feel like fun. Just look at those adorable legs kick with joy. Legs don’t lie… look at that excitement! The baby was kicking up a storm while counting with tractors, diggers and trucks!

Literacy and Vocabulary hack: Reading just one book a day to your child gives them exposure to an extra 300k words by the time they enter kindergarten. That’s just one book a day to get a massive vocabulary and literacy advantage.

Engagement hack: use what they already love and the engagement acts like the hook. It gets them there. Keeps them there and makes learning just feel like play!
