A view of the original vintage building that Falls Market occupied in Ohiopyle State Park, before it was renovated and expanded. This was circa 2010. The old Holt's Department Store sign was still visible by the roof. It has now been painted over. This section of smokestacks and storage hoppers are some of the few remains of the old Anchor Hocking Glass factory in South Connellsville, Pennsylvania. It closed mid-shift on November 4th 2004. Most of the factory was torn down in October 2010. The facility was deemed obsolete, not modern enough to compete for new glass-making contracts anymore. I suspect this portion was left standing because it was too difficult or expensive to tear down. Halloween Night 2024 at the Old Overholt Distillery! While using the Phasm infrared camera, I captured a spirit orb coming right at me as if it had a mind of its own. I saw it in real time which was very spooky.

There is an apparition moving across the screen in this spirit communication video I took at the portal of the abandoned Darr Coal Mine in Rostraver Township, Pennsylvania. I did not notice the spirit in the video until I looked at the video at home. The mine has been completely filled in except for this portion which eroded away again. The Darr Mine was the site of a terrible disaster on December 19, 1907 when 239 men and boys were killed in a fiery explosion. Some of them were never found.

With the spooky season upon us, I wanted to share a photo of this antique coffin-shaped bottle I found buried in the woods almost ten years ago. It was either for medicine or perfume, and has a unique texture all over. I believe it dates from 1905-1917 because it is machine made and has an amethyst tint to the glass. Meaning it has manganese in the glass mix. That ingredient stopped being used in glass about 1917 due to the World War I rationing efforts. I've never been able to find another bottle like this one. Lighting the bottle is one of my Himalayan salt lamps which of course is important to me as a ghost hunter to keep all negative energy away.

At Old Saint Joseph's Cemetery, a headless statue is fronting the crypt of Joseph Soisson (1829-1914), a prominent businessman from the Connellsville area. He was president of Soisson Fire Brick company and Yough Trust Company. And director of the First and Citizens National Banks.
