POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Hello! We are excited to announce that we are slowly transitioning off Bandcamp & Instagram and on to our new website, ghostmountainrecords.com!

You will be able to find all currently available cassettes there. New cassette releases will be sold exclusively there and in person first.

Vinyl releases will be left up to the discretion of the artist, but may be both on the new website as well as the artist’s Bandcamp (and of course, in person).

We are focusing more on in person sales directly with artists, so online supplies will be slightly more limited.

We are also transitioning to the website and newsletter as the main source of info for new and special releases, as well as random giveaways and such. Link to subscribe to the new mailing list is at the bottom of the new website.

We have a special release queued up soon, learn about it first via the mailing list and website, but we will also be sharing the details here after the release :)

We will still update Instagram with news as we slowly transition, but of course one of the best sources for news will come with the artists own profiles and newsletters, updated to their own personal discretion.

We apologies if we are slow to reply via this platform. by @ghostmountainrecords

ALL OF IT, DERAILED - Limited Edition Cassette
Pre-order begins today
Release date - 01/24/25

Dear friends, I’m so excited to let you know about the upcoming release of ALL OF IT, DERAILED — my new solo improvised drum record. This project has been a dream of mine for a long time, but I never felt quite confident enough to make it happen until now.

It will be available on Ghost Mountain Records - January 24, 2025 on cassette tape and digital formats.

Thank you to @tre__michael for making this record sound so compelling. Thank you to @andrew_js for the beautiful photos and design. Thank you to @ghostmountainrecords giving this weird record a home. by @ghostmountainrecords

ultraviolet heart machine ⚙️ you can pre-order it today 🌀

Uvhm is about how love transforms us: geologic change and mycelial connection. 💚

We have some special limited edition things available for the pre-order, including cloud vinyl, autographed (read: we may draw you a little creature) records and cassettes. head over to our bandcamp or Ghost Mountain’s website to see that and get it if that’s speaking to you 🌀⚙️💖

I have so much gratitude to be able to share this with you, it comes from our hearts, our beings are woven into these sounds, it feels very personal to be sharing this music.

The song you hear is “It’s Mycelial” - which is also out today. It’s about sensing threads of connection and not being sure it’s real.

A note on album art: The beautiful album art is by experimental filmmaker Lauren Marie Dake. Here’s what Lauren said about the art: the center image is a painting on a vintage photo, and the background is handmade 16mm film still (which is a tiny frame with filmed image on it that Lauren painted over with colored inks), the front image is a cut paper collage of cooling lava.

Today we are excited to announce our final Bandcamp release of the year, the cassette version of @__mayaelise__ ‘Everything We Watered.’

Indie-Folk band, Maya Elise & The Good Dream gathered in a snow-packed Southern Oregon town on January 1st, 2022, and began to record their third album ‘Everything We Watered.’ The album was recorded in a handmade studio built by the album’s producer and bandmate, M’Gilvry Allen.

Originally released in June 2023, ‘Everything We Watered’ takes the band’s classic harmony-centric sound & story-telling lyrics, and adds a modern production spin that will both surprise and delight long-time listeners. The album has received praise from Glide Magazine, Amplify Her Voice, and Atwood Magazine.

We are celebrating this release with a run on tape!

This 1st run comes on normal bias pea green cassette, duplicated in real-time at Ghost Mountain Records in Seattle and hand numbered (/50). There are 4 different label colors, sent at random. The cassette includes the bonus track “Soul Meets Body,” a cover of Death Cab for Cutie, as well as a digital download code of the album.

All tapes come with a digital download code, and for US-based shipments, the code is printed on wildflower seed paper from @botanicalpaperworks.

Cassettes will be available for purchase starting Dec 4th on Ghost Mountain Record’s and Maya Elise’s Bandcamp. Link will be in bio.

You can also save on shipping and pick up a cassette at Maya’s next show, maybe you’ve got a sneak peak of them already :) by @ghostmountainrecords
