@nivu_san painted 20 scenes—each capturing a different moment of the match. The red color associated with the local football team was chosen as the dominant color in the painting to inspire a sense of identification and community pride, strengthening a sense of belonging and local identity of the residents of Yerucham.

@nivu_san ‏used the divided structure of the wall as a frame for each character, captured in motion at a different moment of the game. The characters are formed of geometric shapes, with a palette of saturated colours, creating a similar visual effect of seeing players moving at speed during a live game.

‏For this new mural in Yerucham, Ghostown invited multi-disciplinary artist @nivu_san to transform the town’s local sports court wall into a vivid, playful football scene. Each figure suggests its own distinctive character but they also form a harmonious whole, evoking a theme of collaboration and working together.

We painted this mural in our hometown Haifa. The historic Terminal in the Haifa Port has been opened to the public for the first time and was converted into a huge music venue, and we were invited to produce our biggest mural to date there.

The port has always been an important part of our lives and our family histories growing up in Haifa, and to us it’s a symbol of openness to the world, representing the possibilities that lie beyond borders and of welcoming people who arrive here. We feel privileged that our work is now part of this landmark in the landscape of our hometown.

Produced by @ghostown_crew
Big thank you to the big crew of talented friends who worked with us on the massive wall 🫡✊

A new project, painted by @tant_bfc @brokenfingaz in collaboration with the community of Clil, in the Galilee. Painting a peace mural on a bomb shelter may seem ironic, but it’s a reminder—especially now—that war is always the worst choice.

Special thanks to JNF USA and to the community of @clil.il by @ghostown.studio

Neil Cohen’s mural at Mazkeret Batya’s community center is a tribute to the 1950s and 1960s pioneers of Hebrew graphic design.
Cohen channels the styles of artists like Uta Velish, Shmuel Katz, and the Shamir brothers with a nostalgic touch while celebrating the roots of kibbutz life and agriculture with a fresh and contemporary twist.
Cohen is an artist, creative director and designer and currently the Director of Product and Brand Design at Melio

This work by Addam Yekutieli is titled, ‘A Silent Demonstration’ and was recently installed in Aberdeen, Scotland for the international street art festival @nuartaberdeen .
Feeling disillusioned and at a loss for words, Yekutieli worked with the local community, asking them to share their experiences of disillusionment and hope, and painted their words onto huge banners, alongside his own, that were then hung on the Simpson Pavilion at Woolmanhill, a 19th century neoclassical former hospital building in the city.
This continues an important strand of Yekutieli’s practice, to continue to collaborate across cultures and boundaries and incorporate a multitude of voices in his public artworks.
