GREEK flat bread SIMPLE RECIPE. Trust me.

It’s shredding for the wedding time. And this has become a staple in the house. Dan and I love a carb. So getting some protein in is just a positive.

Ingredients:
1 x cup Greek Yoghurt
1 x egg whisked and any topping said your choice. I did sesame seed and plain.
1 - 2 cups all purpose flour until your dough is not so sticky. Kneed together. Roll it. Divide it. Flatten it. Bake it. I baked for about 20 mins on 190. by @gi_myers

DELICIOUS ROSH HASHANA SALAD RECIPE. • Save —->
•Salad

•2 bags baby rocket or mixed leaves
•large crisp green apple, very thinly sliced
• 1 and half cups pomegranate seeds
• 150 g feta, crumbled
• ½ cup pistachios or pecans, lightly toasted or walnuts
• Optional: 1 avocado, sliced just before serving

Honey-pomegranate dressing

• 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
• 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
• 1 tbsp pomegranate juice
• 1½ tbsp honey
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Happy birthday to my MOH! 🤍

Mama to Sebastian and Finny, best friend, business partner and just an all-round phenomenal human.

I genuinely can’t imagine my life without you in it. Getting to see you every day, build something we’re so passionate about together, and somehow still find things to laugh about in the middle of the chaos is the greatest gift. How much our doggies love each other and the way we manage to dress exactly the same every time without even knowing it.

What a year it’s been. Watching you step into motherhood while continuing to show up for everyone around you has been so special to witness. You make the impossible look effortless (even though I know it definitely isn’t!).

Thank you for being the person I can celebrate wins with, cry to, voice-note and call 17 times a day, and dream up crazy ideas with. Life is just better with you in it. Happy birthday my special Ashy 🖤🖤🖤 by @gi_myers

And honestly? I’m so grateful he didn’t. 🙏🏽

Last year was one of the most incredible years of our lives. Between work and every opportunity to travel, we found ourselves in some truly spectacular places.

At almost every one of these destinations, there were at least one or two moments where I was convinced Dan was about to propose. 😂 Looking back now, I laugh… because none of those moments were our moment.

And I’m so grateful for that.

Here are a few lessons I learned:

🤍 1. Timing really is everything.
The right feeling matters so much more than the right location. When you’re building a life together, being aligned on the big things and the little things is what really matters.

🤍 2. We had more growing to do.
Last year taught us so much about each other. We became more vulnerable, understood each other more deeply, and somehow fell in love all over again.

🤍 3. I wasn’t as “ready” as I thought I was. 😂
As much as I kept hoping it would happen, nothing could have prepared me for how I actually felt leading up to the real proposal. It was pure magic.

🤍 4. Nothing worth having needs to be rushed.
Knowing you’re both completely on the same page is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world. It’s a feeling of safety. A value I was looking for in a relationship. Emotional safety.

🤍 5. Patience has always been one of my biggest life lessons…
And wow… did this season make me learn it. 😅

🤍 6. The best moments can’t be forced. They arrive exactly when they’re meant to.
Looking back now, I wouldn’t change a single “not yet.” Every almost, every wait, and every lesson led us to the moment that was always meant to be ours.

So here’s to all the almost proposals… 🤍
