Traveled to NYC to compete in the 2025 All American High School Film Festival!! 🎥

I led my team as the director, cinematographer, and editor to produce our film in the deadline of 3 days. Managing the entire production process was extremely difficult, especially as the only person on my team with video experience.

We spent the first few days filming around the city. Once it was time to edit, I shut myself in my hotel room and worked for 20 hours straight 😅 After lots of crying and a ton of energy drinks, it was finally time to submit our film. The final product wasn’t exactly what I hoped, but I was relieved the pressure was over and I could start enjoying the rest of the trip.

After submitting our film, we joined the other AAHSFF attendees on a day cruise which was definitely the best part of the festival 🤍 The next day we went sight seeing, and walked across Brooklyn bridge to watch the sunset. On the last night we went to the award ceremony.

As challenging as this experience was, I’m glad I was able to attend! It was an incredible opportunity and I got to meet so many talented people.
